I hate any identity politics but he ain’t wrong, just don’t like or understand the qualifiers…
Lamar was one of my favorites, Kendrick as well, just wish there was another way to say this.
“We (Clemson) have been notorious for having a crazy, white, meathead linebacker.” 💥
Sammy Brown is the next in line to carry that torch — dude is definitely living up to the hype. Excited to see what the future holds for him.

I say Bruiser vs meathead when it comes to the true pure hitters. Meathead I use for the ones who hit hard but also head hunt. I prefer a bruiser type, less flags.

from Gaffney....and for the life of me I cannot remember his name...but he laid out the coot ball carrier who ran back the opening kickoff in the 2004 Brawl Game, causing a fumble that we recovered on their 8 yardline, and quickly scored to set the tone for the entire game...The coots ran 54 offensive plays that day..50 originiating on their side of the 50,30 of those inside their 30, and 20 inside their own 20 yardline.

As an equal opportunity offender I think we (Americans) are way too touchy and have let "PC" speech aka Marxism ruin public discourse.
We should ALL be able to speak our minds without being attacked by oversensitive zealots.
Rencher drew a perfectly vivid description that even a non football fan could understand. Bravo. He's an ex-football player after all, and pretty sure it was a compliment. No malice was intended.
Let's ALL lighten up and grow some balls. 😉

I disagree. Marxism is about destroying all western values. Family. Freedoms. All freedoms are the enemy of Marxism. Marxism is killing those that disagree.
I’ve been back in school the last 7 years working on my third degree and a PsyD. Any sociology class, and most others are teaching Marxism to our kids. Dividing people over racial lines, religious lines, and family values is the main speaking point of Marxism. It’s a twenty year plan to convert capitalist societies into first socialist, aka the 8th level of enlightenment, and to the ultimate enlightenment of hardcore communism.
I have kept every text book to build my psychology library for my practice. I can provide citations and quotes if need be. However, I am sick of citations as I’m working my dissertation now. You’ll just have to take my word for it.

Thank you for setting him straight. The ignorance of some people is absolutely astounding. Anyone who understands the basic concepts of Marxism knows they attack language 1st, by limiting what words, phrases, etc...can and can't be used in public discourse.
By controlling what people say, you can control what they think. This explains why they're BIG fans of censorship.

Kinda sounds like something he might come up with. In the locker rooms they're not overreacting to every little thing when it comes to skin tones and heritage and more likely having fun with it, like other differences we all have.
Looking forward to the pendulum settling closer back to the center on race reference reactions.

I don’t have a problem with it personally. Just seems like an observation. And (at least in my personal social sphere) the climate seems to be moving past the racially sensitive phase we’ve been in the past decade or so where if this comment was made in 2020-2021 it might be seen as problematic to some.
Someone could make the equally valid claim that we have a history of having a fast aggressive black WR that could go up and get the ball and always pose a deep threat. Sammy,Nuk,Tee,Mike Williams, etc.
We can accept racial differences without being racist. We can acknowledge and celebrate the diversity of the world. We don’t have to swing to the other extreme end of the pendulum and pretend to be “colorblind”. That minimizes individual differences when we need unity in our diversity.

Well put. Differences are what makes life interesting. It would be super boring if we were all the same. We are all individuals with different attributes and we should celebrate those differences and learn from one another. We should share cultures and unite as Americans instead of dividing over the differences in our colors and cultures.

I think it’s different to use “white” as a descriptor than using “black” as a qualifier. You can use “black” as a descriptor, but be real sure bc, given our nation’s past, qualifiers for black people equate to systemic racism and prejudice.
And, there are no people using “white” as a qualifier bc of privilege. My 2c.

Doesn’t bother me in the slightest and I wish people would just let this roll off their back. Not a fan of the reverse analogy because it just seems to perpetuate the whole race agenda. He can say white, meathead, honky or whatever.
Clemson has done a great job finding guys like Boulware, Skalski, and Woodaz who were probably overlooked by others.
Sammy Brown and Wade Woodaz are different though. Both of those guys are going to play in the NFL. They have speed and size and will continue to wreck offenses. Brown is an absolute freak and I can’t wait to see how his career unfolds.

#1 RENCHER TALKS TO MUCH. Always has. #2 If he said that about a black dude, it would be declared racist and all helinski would break loose. #3 Sammy is not a meathead. He is a brilliant student. Rencher needs to choose his words better. It is one thing to talk to guys in the locker room. It's another to publish your words world wide.
