The program that previously got the Death Penalty for what's going on all over the sport now, only worse.

Wonder where Clemson would come into this list. Probably in the 30s.

Keep in mind, with NIL on the table they aren’t really watching other money and benefits being handed out like they used to. We need some wealthy alumni(not me😂), to start throwing that cheese.

Any idea who the T Boone Pickens of IPTAY/110 is? When I still lived up there, I went to college with one of the big donor's sons. I got a few trips to their box when it wasn't maxed out.

Yeah SMU is loaded with rich boosters which is one reason they got the NCAA death penalty back on the 80’s. They were down since then but with TP/NIL look for a rebound. Also note 3 Texas Schools in the Top 10.

SMU is a pro when it comes to getting money in players hands. This is why they received the Death Penalty in the early 80’s. They actually keep a book to keep up with their payroll. lol 😂 With NIL now available SMU may start the payroll system back up. This time when you kick a guy off of your team continue to pay him so he want go to the NCAA and report you under the table payment system.
I have always wondered why the administration and the AD kept such detailed documentation. SMU had already been busted a couple of times for paying recruits and players as well as other NCAA violations. It has taken them about 30 years to recover from such a severe punishment.

Interesting that UGA, bama and to some extent clemson, three schools that are focusing on retention and advertising what you can make, instead of pay for play are not on the list. My guess is these numbers are heavy on the recruiting front and not realistic for the full NIL perspective.

Hopefully most parents are still interested in their kids getting a quality education and learning how to become quality people, future leaders, parents, teachers etc…
You can take the money behind door number 1 and ignore doors which offers your kids a quality education and life’s lesson's. If you choose door number 1 and things don’t work out, it’s more difficult to undo your choice of the $$$$$$$ door number 1 !
I can see Dabo trying to work with NIL and helping his players land deals. I can even see Dabo using the TP. But I know he will NOT compromise the core values of his program at Clemson for more wins and players. Personally, I would not want a coach who would sale out his values and his soul for anything. I feel Dabo will remain true to himself and to Clemson.
