Klubnick has yet to take a snap in regulation play, and we all saw DJ last year. This seems pretty cut and dry.

DJ took us for a tumble here last year if we remove all the excuses about the wr’s, Offensive line, injuries & etc. DJ was awful putting our WR’s in bad positions to take hits, held the ball and made our OL struggle much longer than normal, threw horrible INT’s.
He threw the ball to hard with no touch a lot, he over & under threw the ball to them constantly. He couldn’t make a decision until it was really late to throw it. I couldn’t do better but we need to be honest about how bad he was last season.
He has the athletic ability to be great but he has to make quick decisive decisions in the line of fire. I know personally his parents were separating and his world was falling apart. My heart breaks for him.
I hope he has gotten a million times better this season, if he hasn’t Dabo will have to move on & give him more time to develop watching another talented youngster..
It’s going to get really interesting quick this season. Let’s go Tigers ??

seems to me that they put weight on him because there was nobody behind him on the depth chart, and after the UGA game they decided it was a good time to re-work on his mechanics, as say, over the summer. I think that caused a lot indecision and poorly thrown balls, like he was thinking instead of just reacting. Whenever he was pressured and had to improvise, his accuracy seemed to improve, standing in the pocket, not so much.
Either way, another poster in the spring, can not remember his name, mentioned it very well may be possible that he has hit his ceiling when it comes to reading and diagnosing a defense, and I think we all saw enough last year to consider this a possibility as well. All Speculation, I do not sit through the practices, just observations a few others have made.
