It was right after they fired him. He gave a press conference and ripped into Memphis. I also remember him getting into it with Jackie Sherrill after a game one year. JS smarted off about something, and West started cursing him, just unloading in the guy.

West looks like when he loses his temper, he really goes ballistic.

He was 100% correct in everything he said and for once somebody stood up and said what was on their mind. West didn't do well at Clemson but I will always respect the guy.

To see a guy with nothing to lose stand up and say what he really thought was refreshing. I have no idea what he went through at Memphis. But I'm sure it's not the easiest place in the world to coach. Check out the youtube of him yelling at Jackie Sherrill. CJS had a reputation as a jerk-off, so it was always nice to see West jump down his throat.

Man Sherrill seems like a true ###. Glad Tommy did something about Sherrill's manners.

BTW, beat the heck out of MSU at the Orange Bowl. Cheer like you are playing against Sherrill...
