Today is my parent's 76th wedding anniversary.

They are both going to be 96 years old in a few months, and my sisters and I are going to eat lunch with them at the assisted living facility today. I don't have any idea how much longer they have, but I'll take advantage of every day they have left.
Do any of you TigerNetters out there have parents married 76 years or more? Just curious...

Wonderful!
I just did the math. If Mom and Dad were still here, he would be 93 and Mom would be 91. They would have been married 73 years.
Officially, they were hitched for 60 years.

My Dad would have turned 100 today. He passed away a long time ago in 1989 when he was only 63 and I had just turned 26. He and Mom were married until he passed but obviously didn’t make as many years as your parents. Congratulations to them and yes, spend as much time as you can with them.

Congrats to them. We dont quite have that many birthdays yet and are 51 years married. My parents are both gone but would have been married about that long if still around.

That's awesome! Cherish every possible moment. My folks were a month shy of 48 years when dad passed. I make sure mom gets yellow flowers every year, dad's favorite color.

My grandmother is turning 97 this summer but my grandfather passed 30+ years ago.
She's still kickin' strong under the circumstances. Slowed down but still has her wit.

Nobody will beat that, I remember a couple in Anderson that had their 72nd wedding anniversary.
That’s simply amazing, may they be blessed more and more everyday in every way!❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽✝️
My parents made it to 58, my mom died in January of 2020. My dad is doing good at 83.

Oh man Pig enjoy every moment you can!! Impressive that both have lived to be 96and to have been married that long!!!
Unfortunately my dad passed away at 53 and my mom passed away 85 or probably would have made 76 in fact this year would have been 75 years for them
Tell them both congratulations their 76th Anniversary from the Tnet family!!!!

My grandparents had been married for 72 years when my grandmother passed way at age 86. My grandfather lived another 12 years and had his wits about him the whole time.
They were indeed great, Godly people and fantastic role models.

Every day is a blessing.
A friend of my parents just passed, he was 107.

That has got to be a winner, we have a couple in our church that has been married for 66 years, and I thought THAT was exceptional. (It still is, by the way!)

If my dad hadn’t passed away 10 years ago , they would have had their 77th in December- I was born 9 months and one week after their wedding day.

My parents were married 67 years when mom passed at 86 in 2013. Dad passed at 94 five years ago on February 13. They were married in 1946 not long after dad returned from about 6 months in Japan at the end of WWII.

ago! They were married almost 71 years and died six months apart! I was in my mid to late 30's when three of my four grandparents died! Very grateful for that when I know many folks never even knew their grandparents. I was 13 when two of my great grandparents died.

Lost my dad a couple months after their 50th wedding anniversary. Mom is still living in their house and will turn 89 this year
September of this year would have been their 70th.
