What are you saying, are you believing that with our OL over many years of being mediocre at best that coach Luke has been given a chance to turn our OL into something special and giving our Tiger fan base an OL that we can brag about having. For me that is something that I've dreamed about for our Tiger FB program for a long time, especially since Dabo has been our HC....

But I believe Luke can calibrate some of the juniors, sophs and redshirts, cull the herd, and recruit better talent with a year or two of results.

Very good point Soc Man but that's why we take the next man up who's ready for the challenge, and I bet we score some refined OL talent from the portal. We've carried the purse too long in this department store, now we about to go shopping!

say it's about relationships, not just this year, but 2-3 years from now. Doesn't sound like a Portal Shopper. Of course, comprehension is needed to understand that

Wrong. He said no problem getting someone from the portal. Said if he had his drothers, he'd rather get a guy from the portal that still had a couple years of eligibility. That'd be his preference and the reason he went after the d2 guy. Which is what most of us have been asking for to use the portal.

I agree with socman. But he may be able to get a little something out of some of our seniors next year. I think some have talent but just haven't been taught how to use it. He'll have all spring and summer so I'm hoping he can get something out of them.
Anymore, the PC answer is I love the culture, it's family friendly, and faith matters. Pretty much anywhere you go nowadays, you'll get that same response. It's not really a dabo thing anymore. Beamer, Kirby, Norvell, they all preach the same thing. The writers and cult members want to portray dabo as a God or some type of king.
Luke pretty much shot it straight, he's coming here to fix the mess and win a national championship. I like it. Now if he can just talk dabo off that 15 crap and hopefully he can. He won't publicly say it, but he's right about the injuries.

I liked when Luke said he liked Rileys game plan to run the ball more in

the last part of the season. He adjusted the offense based on what we had to do to win. Luke is on board with Riley and is enjoying “getting back on the grass” as they prepare.
Would be nice to see a great game from Cade too.

Great interview. Coach Luke will definitely get the most out of the OLine. Hoping he will be successful in helping to recruit more athletic Oline man.

Is that Thomas Austin didn’t get to get his mentorship as I think TA will be an excellent OL coach. Two years working for Matt would have been a huge opportunity for him.
I think Matt could turn out to be the best hire since the Morris and Venable hires.

Yep, great point but TA was at ga st as the oline coach. Probably been awkward to hire Luke and TA kicked back to a GA or another role.

Just seems sincere as you can be with coaches speak right away, but with stern on a goal and how to achieve it.
I'm buying what he's selling. I'm also loving Rumph being back. Leaves Eason to focus entirely on the line. Could be quite a leap early

Like this man. Did a great job answering questions without throwing previous coaches under the bus. I love this hire even more after listening to interview.

We’ve gotten the 4 star lineman but just haven’t developed them, which has hurt recruitment. The fact that we have put very few OL in the pros over the past decade is a stain on recruiting so let’s hope he can develop players. I’m excited about the OL future!
