Why not move Shipley to slot receiver? And commit to Mafah as the featured back. Mafah gets enough reps to get in rhythm - and Shipley breathes life into our receiving Corp. all we really do with both of them in the backfield is hope that we can fool the defense into thinking the other one has it. Flexing Shipley stretches their d way more.

It would also stretch the D thin not knowing if we were going to hand the ball off to one or the other RBs, they would also have to be aware of Shipley catching the ball from out of the back field, and they better be aware of a pass to a WR that would leave the RBs to block out any bliz.

IMHO, both at once in the back field could help our O line bc of the confusion of not knowing where the ball is going. What RB will get the ball bc both are dangerous, will it be thrown to Shipley, or will it be thrown to a WR. THAT wouldn't allow the opposing D to key in on just a RB or a WR getting the ball. IMO, it would help more than hurt with both in the back field together....

I noticed that there were few if any RPO'S Saturday which I think helped Mafah and the OL. Resulted in much better execution and more yards. Yes after 1st hit was all Mafah.

LOOK LIKE DABO TURN HIM LOOSE SATURDAY {RILEY} THE OFFENSE WAS MORE IN ATTACK MODE BUT I STILL SAY SOMETHING NEED TO BE DO AFTER SEASON ENDS WITH OUR DEFENSE

I've said from the start of Goodwin as DC that Dabo should have hired an experienced DC, but with the way they have played, who could do a better job than what Goodwin has done to this point, and keep in mind, he had never been in charge of a defense ever, and he's learning the job pretty well. Give credit when credit is due, he deserves credit....
