WATCH: DJ Uiagalelei on 17-14 win over Syracuse
Clemson starting quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei recapped his performance and his team's overall play during Clemson's 17-14 win over Syracuse on Friday night. "I think I played OK," he said. "I think it was definitely probably the best I have played all season but there is still a lot to go, still a lo Read Update » |

After watching this, I realized what his problem is, he is more concerned about his appearance than improving his game. Watch it again. He is more concerned about his hair than his performance. How many times does he stroke his hair? Then there is that gold chain. NIL has ruined him. He won't improve as long as he gets paid. I guess he needs to pocket what he can because he is nowhere close to being on an NFL team. Wish we could get the old DJ back.

You can’t fault a kid for his mannerism. Listen to what he says. He is a very humble kid, doesn’t throw anyone under the bus, only talks about what he can do better. You may be disappointed in his productivity but you can’t criticize the person. He’s a good kid. It’s the coaches job to put him in a position to be successful given his skill set. That is what you can criticize.

Can’t agree with you more. Not picking on his personal preferences of keeping his hair looking good for the camera, and his Mr. T starter kit around his neck. If his productivity doesn’t improve the chain should read Big CERO! But I hope he improves.

You are 100% correct. I never comment on social media, but this interview disturbed me too much not too. I think we all can really see how mentally messed up he is and where his focus truly is. This madness needs to stop. We need to take a cue from Lincoln Riley

First of all, maybe he's not. He seems very focused on his brand. Second, the standard isn't trying your best, everyone wins BS. The standard is being the best.

Sloppiness is just part of football. A few drops here, a few missed blocks there, hey, it is what it is. The offense is ready to explode at any time. What can you say? This season is an anomaly. It will all come out in the wash. Pitt is the stepping stone to greatness. Let's see, I think I covered most of it.

DJ needs to stop worrying about how his fade looks and start worrying about how he is going to take those concrete shoes off.

Dj reminds me of those pros that play hard in a contract year and awful once they secure the money. His baby college endorsements ruined him.
