I didn't get a chance to see the game, but a quick look at the box score showed Clemson passed the ball 60 times and handed the ball off to their RB'S a total of 16 times...and Clemson ended the game with three straight incompletions when they only needed like 5 yds for a first down. This Clemson offense is so one dimensional and lacks a commitment to running the ball with their RB's. Passing can be inconsistent at times, especially when you factor in things like weather (weren't the conditions slick today?).
At the very least a running game will bring physicality and wear down an opposing defense. Compare a 3- and-out with 3 straight runs versus 3 straight passes. The 3 straight runs will physically tax the defense and eat up some clock, while 3 straight incompletions takes no time off the clock and hardly taxes the defense at all. A run game helps an offense gain rhythm and control of the game...Syracuse on the other hand passed it about the same amount as they ran it, showing good balance on offense. I would think Clemson would try calling some different plays or give another QB a shot to see if he can spark the offense. How bout at least give the Clemson RB's at least 25-30 carries a game?!?!

Exactly what I thought. We would start getting some success with the running game then suddenly abandon it for no reason. Randall has actually done a decent job why not use him?

1-3 starting out and I predict 4-8 or 5-7 for the season. This coaching staff is trash and if Dabo can’t get into the new college football era then he needs to go. I think he wants to go anyways, that’s why he’s losing games. Time for a change!

He’s emotional because he’s finding out the hard way he’s been wrong the last four years!! Coming to grips with the reality that his philosophy of recruit and develop is a thing of the past!! When the scrubs of the conference are getting better and you aren’t, it’s time to take a look in the mirror!! Maybe losing 8 games this year will humble this man because he sure needs some good old fashioned humbling!!
