How 'bout we criticize Clemson's use of the transfer portal some more? Apparently, these guys have no comprehension or critical thought skills whatsoever and must still blame Trump for job losses in 2020 or give Biden credit for "job growth" in 2022. Sheesh.

How many times must it be said that "if there are no slots available, then we can't take anyone"? They must know something we don't, so someone alert Dabo, because our staff could really use some help in divining which scholarships to take to free up space in order to appease all these critics.

Moreover, even when slots do present themselves (our veritable cornucopia of possibilities being TWO this cycle), what is it that eludes them about transfers not taking the offer? If we didn't offer anyone, then say that, but that is not the case. They cannot, so they intentionally fail to qualify their statements, perpetuating this fallacy that we outright refuse to use it. Yes, we know we need help on the O-line and have made offers, but Dabo is right, they have to love us, too.

As such, Hale and Schlabach, how about use your imagination to think up something else to write about because your received opinions from ESPN are getting boorish. Check that, those in this regard have long been boorish, it just seems to have no end. Do us all a favor and learn a new trick, please.

I am not opposed to just criticism where due, but while I'm growling, whatever TigerNet staff writer wrote this, stop enabling these clowns, please. That, or learn the realities of our situation and have the courage to go against the tide and come to your team's defense by saying what they are not.

Stating a fact does not make anyone an apologist.

In the end, if the portal has that much of a part to play in a school's ability to field a decent team, then our defense would have also suffered, and it has not. Just sayin'.
