Offseason will be interesting. If I’m on the coaching staff, I’m really hoping Miami loses today to secure my job a couple more weeks.
Dabo might hold off for the ACCCG, but I don’t expect him to wait on a bowl game to start making changes.

You think Dabo will make changes? You have more faith in him than I do.

South Carolina players have less of a right to the field after the games then any student or booster do... they actually paid for it.
You are just in this position because our coaches gave it to ya.

That's ideal... but there's no issue with fans stopping the opposition from disrespecting the university after the game. These players have to integrate into society at the end of the day.

Stop it coaches didn’t give them anything. Our players aren’t good. 16 seconds left ball on the 19 and one timeout QB rolls out of the pocket and decides hey I’m not throwing this pass away and stopping the clock so I get another shot at the end zone. Nah that’s dumb. I’ll throw a three yard pass to our lead footed RB who will get tackled immediately forcing us to call our last timeout and best case scenario our bad news bears like field goal team can make one to tie so we can lose in overtime. But not only does he make a horrible decision he makes a horrible pass. Why? Because he stinks our roster stinks.

Clemson doesn’t deserve to be in. They played a good Georgia team and got their doors blown off, the played average teams and lost to Louisville and South Carolina. What good team did they beat this season?? Be real this team stinks. Who is our go to guy when we need a big play? Mafah? Their defensive line was faster than him today? Do we have a WR that weighs more than 150lbs and actually gets separation? What about our third year qb who comes up small in tight spots. Please don’t bring up the Pitt game. Pitt is lousy. Barret Carter is one of the most athletic LBs in all of football who would ever think to make him a spy every time sellars dropped back to pass?? Obviously not our defensive coordinator or head coach? Recruiting has been awful. Talent evaluation way way off and our development stinks. So what is happening. We do the same thing every single year and what doors thinks it will get better. Look at the teams that have passed us? Penn state Georgia, Ohio state, South Carolina, Texas, Miami, Smu, Tennessee the list goes on. 12 teams make the playoffs and we are so good we can’t get in? We suck

I follow national high school recruiting a bit. Articles written about top players who choose a school always list their 4-5 top options. Clemson is hardly ever even mentioned. We have moved slowly back into the pack of mostly undistinguished teams with a few highly skilled players.
Why would a top player come to a formerly prominent national program where NIL apparently isn't competitive and the coach has no interest in plugging holes via the portal. The reality is that the top high school/college players are at a university for one reason---to get to the next level. They can be noticed by NFL scouts playing anywhere, but why not play with the best and against the best in the post-season?
Dabo works hard, and 3-4 years at Clemson are very positive and formative for his players. He is a wonderful role model, and that should be enough. In the current athletic culture it isn't.
This was a game between two B/B- teams. South Carolina did Clemson a favor, because Clemson in the BCS in 2024 would have been a travesty.
Water seeks its own level.
