Does UGa have a limit on the number of recruits and transfers it can take in a given year like other teams or does it get an exemption from the SEC? They seem to always be over 30/year.

It just shows they chew them up and spit them out. I’m sure a lot of “You won’t be getting much playing time here, so you should think about moving on” conversations. So they lose a lot and then replenish just as fast. It’ll happen again next season and so on.

In total Georgia has seen 18 players enter the transfer portal, with 16 of them being on scholarship. Georgia’s scholarship count for next season currently sits at 97, meaning the Bulldogs will need to see at least 12 more scholarship players depart the program. Georgia is also in the market to make more portal additions as well, meaning Georgia would have to undergo even further departures.

Well, this is what makes them a modern powerhouse. They are doing whatever is necessary to be the best they can possibly be. If you aren’t cutting it, you won’t stay in that program. Kirby says eff your feelings I’m here to win championships. We get to meet that head on next season. Us and our high moral standards. I hope the nice guys do not finish last.

But they won't, they will just keep adding players until the find their 48 to 60 players that will most likely be as good as any other team in the country will have, but still screw it up in the SEC championship, the hardest game for them to ever win!!! I just hope we give him something to think about for the rest of his career for turning us down, Go Tiger D, and bury him wherever we play!!!

The SEC has always taken as any as they wanted and nothing is never said.
But it looks like Garrett Riley is going to get his 2nd shot at UGA, and I hope that it turns out better than his game did playing for the natty!!!

False rumor on Bama was involved. They offered him but that was it
Saban addressed that in an interview. Not about etn2 specific, but bidding on players. Said he wasn't getting into a bidding war for any recruit... essentially said the same thing Dabo said, they only want kids for the right reason. Sadly, T-Net narrative is that Bama does. Do they give kids nil, sure. So do we.

Unlike a lot of schools who have sorority girls or specific girls to wine and dine and show recruits around campus and take them to parties, Clemson does not partake in that. We are good.

We were doing it when I was there as well. They were called “hosts.” And they would take them to parties and show them the social scene. This was early 2000s. Bowden Era.
