he was a phenomenal athlete that deserved all the recognition he got. and he is still doing crazy things in the NFL. yeah he isn't a great public speaker, so what. that has nothing to do with how he played football. did he ever get in trouble? has he been busted with drugs? has he stolen from a store and got caught? no? then lay off him.
crablegs winston is a different story. so is derrick henry. winston was a punk, and henry was clearly not the best player the year he won it. I was more upset that year deshaun didn't win the heisman, not so much the next year.

DW4 was way better college QB than BoBo, and he didn't have the heisman appointed to him either, and that alone should tell the real truth about what the heisman has become. It's nothing more or nothing less than an appointed trophy given to who ever the sports media has glamorized!!! John Heisman's name should be removed, and John Heisman be remembered for all that he personally meant to college FB without a meaningless trophy being named after him, and the trophy be rename the Sports Media Favorite Player Trophy, because that is exactly what the Heisman has become, and it's being used for, and its actually a disgrace to John Heisman name!!!

This is why there shouldn't be any Heisman voting until the college FB season is over, and it isn't over until the very last college game has been played, and there won't be anymore college games played until the opening game of the next season.
Actually, the 2019 season Heisman winner shouldn't be voted on until after the National Championship game has been played, and the winner not revealed until a few weeks before the new college FB season opens.
It would be a good thing for college FB if the Heisman winner of the previous season wasn't announced until a set date a few weeks prior to the opening of the next season, and that would be a great way to open the next new college FB season!!!

And what statement wins are Oklahoma and OSU going to have exactly? Oklahoma has Texas as a potential top 10 when they play that’s it. osu has Wisconsin and Penn State. I’m not sold on either one of those teams being as good as their rank indicates yet. It’s also not guaranteed osu wins both of those games or either one for that matter lol. Doesn’t really matter about statement wins anymore anyways it’s about who allowed their starters to pad up those stats into the 4th quarter while they’re shutting teams out. That’s the real reason Trevor or Etn don’t really have a chance. What signature wins did Lamar Jackson have? They beat a FSU team that finished 8th but then lost to unranked Houston and Kentucky at the end of the year. Anyways I’m tired of hearing about this TLaw arleady said he doesn’t care about individual stats and accolades he cares about winning

Yep!.. as much as people wanta get offended by his comments.. he’s right.. our schedule is very weak and TL isn’t lighting it up.. but like Tebow said, TL doesn’t need to for us to run our schedule.. even into the acccg.. and I also agree with Tebow that TL will start to get better and better..
Everyone says “who cares, it’s a tainted trophy.. blah blah blah.. but I garauntee those same people would be all about it if one of our guys was leading for it.

I agree with both of your posts!??
I think our coaches are focusing on winning each game and making the team better. A lot of wins is a natural byproduct; individual awards are not quite so strongly linked. Clemson, TL, ETN and the rest are gonna be fine.

It isn't the fault of the players of how good or how bad their FB schedule ends up being year in and year out. They are given a date to show up and play their best to win the games they are schedule to play. For now our team and the players on our team has proven their worth when the best of the best has been lined up and the ball has been spotted. You can't expect anymore when they have beaten the best when they have been lined up in front of them, and that is what champions do, and they don't hand pick any team that they play and beat!!! Go Tigers, and just keep beating whoever you are ask to play against!!!
