It's always unwise for an opponent to say they are going to win etc before a game. Coaches and players use the smallest things to motivate. Ever played a team sport, if so, you know?

I guess I used my brain too much when I was team sporting, you know?
If he said "we are an SEC team are going to crush them", then that would be stupid and qualify as "bulletin board" material.
If he said "they done never done played in a stadium like ours"..even that may be construed as bulletin board material.
What the TAMU player said is not something that would have riled myself or my teammates up. My teams were used to winning. We didnt waste our emotion until kick off. Maybe lesser teams do.
But I get your point. Some folks - like Crump - try to find things that dont exist.

-- a point which he does not understand. Yes, Jimbo Fisher's playbook is new to Tx A&M players but not to BV and the Power Rangers. Is it possible Clemson players know Jimbo's schemes better than the Aggie players? I believe it is.
Hopefully the Aggies will give Dabo some good bulletin board material.
And one note on Aggie fans and alums, they are first class people ... after this game, I will pull for the Aggies most of the way. Go Tigers!

Dodson needs an education on many levels! His use of language leaves a lot to be desired and his obvious lack of knowledge of Coach Fisher’s past experiences with Clemson is somewhat sad altogether. I am sure he is well meaning, but TAMU will have to play quite well to have a chance to beat Clemson. Unfortunately for A&M the Tigers have a better understanding of schemes than their players having played against Fisher led teams multiple times.

You are 100% right chief. The kid said what you and I would have said in a similar situation.
This will not likely be the first time we have played a team who showed us a different look. I’m thinking the coaches have all the bases covered. The last few times we have played Jimbo his new looks didn’t work all that well.
If the Tigers win the line play it will not be a game. If they don’t, tnet will be a sad place Sunday morning!
