Thanks for the definition, Perhaps use "The 0-4-4 State" to lower the common denominator of those who understand.

I wish Ryan Day would just come on out and say "We believe we were better than Clemson that night and the only reason we lost was because of the officiating". He hints to it all the time, but I guess in this politically correct world we live in he's forced to use coach speak. They may have gotten a few bad breaks and could've of well as had been the better team that night, but the fact remains. YOU HAD A CHANCE AND YOU BLEW IT!!! GO TIGERS!!!

This is a perfect example of the huge difference in our coach and their coach. I could be wrong, but I don't think I've ever heard Dabo cry about a loss regardless of how bad the ref calls were. And I do remember OSU holding our receivers on about every play, and still not a peep out of Dabo about that with Day crying a river everyday!!!

I have made the huge mistake of reading the tweets of the whiniest spoiled brat football crowd of all time. It never ocurred to them with that all they had to do was stop a 96 yard drive or score at the end...literally like listening to a 5 year old that didn't get what they wanted.

Dear Ohio State......

I hope that you Buckeyes do not forget the game in Glendale. Clemson fans will certainly not forget the game and we will also not forget the ceaseless whining you've done after the game. You lost. Clemson kicked your butt. Please do not forget that game.
Maybe you should write down the scores of ALL your losses to Clemson.
17-15.....Woody lost it and his career went up in flames. 40-35.....Clemson remembers this as the "Hurtin' buckeroo game". 31-0......No contest. CLemson just beat the crap out of Ohio State. 29-23.....You gave up 14 points just before halftime. You could not hold the lead in the 4th quarter. ..........Your QB threw an interception to seal the loss.
Maybe you should remember the Buckeye coaches who lead you to these losses.
Woody Hayes Urban Meyer Urban Meyer Ryan Day
Day wins the post game crying award.

There is a HUGE difference
Jan 24, 2020, 8:50 AM
|
|
between accepting that you didn't play your best and the other team played lights out, and crying and whining like a spoiled child, looking for any excuse you can get to stick and having the arrogance to think you were actually the better team than the one that just beat you. On the game's biggest stage.
Everyone should be a little salty after a loss. Losing sucks. But other than that, there is ZERO correlation between us beating an O310 State and LSU beating us.

"Get over it." You lost because of several plays and not just one. We took 4 plays the length of the field and scored on you late in the game. Your great defense could have stopped us but didn't.

Seems to me the score should in on the walls in Day’s office since he has a hard time designing touchdown plays in the red zone as opposed to FG plays...all he has to do is get a little better at play design and they may have a chance...yep the players should Paint the score on his walls to see if it will motivate him more all year to be better at his job!!!

Than (C)Ryan Day's approach. Celebrate accomplishments. Congratulate the other team. Enjoy the ride. Move forward.

Will never be a championship coach. Had chance to win it and simply blew it. Blaming loss for a game that was 100% in your control is what all the half-steppers do. If OSU makes it to a playoff game with clemson, will look much like the 31-0 debacle.

this dude must really be about 12 years old, move on moron. one thing to use it as motivation for next year but another to just be obsessed with it. needs a lesson in losing graciously. anybody can win, but not just anybody can lose and accept that the better team won that day.

Big 10 fans are almost worse than SEC fans (almost). For some reason they believe they're god's gift to college athletics. I've long believed that the Big 10 gets hyped up due to their large alumni bases just to get viewers, even though they aren't deserving. You'll get an odd year where they have a legit team (OSU was legit this year), but most of the time they either get beat up in the playoff or they don't make the playoff. Every year you have 5 or so big 10 teams ranked (for $$$ purposes), they beat each other and give each other resume building "ranked" wins, but they rarely ever schedule a SEC team or Clemson out of conference, so you never know how good the conference as a whole is until bowl season. And then, their bowl record is usually not what it seems, because when you don't make the playoff your best team is playing another P5 conference's second best team (or you're beating up on the poor Pac-12 in the Rose Bowl). It's all a sham, same thing in basketball, Big 10=biggest student bodies=biggest alumni bases=most viewers=media hype.

Let him concentrate his revenge on Clemson who is not on his schedule thus far, and a few other teams on his schedule will wipe that smirk off his face and remove any possibility of 04for40 making it to the playoff. Day's attitude has made me a fan of every Ohio State opponent.

Here you go Ryan Day, I'll give you some more bulletin board material. Just keep on thinking about Clemson while some lowly B1G team knocks you out of the CFP.

So this makes OSU yet another team that is more concerned about Clemson's football team than they are their own team.
