To me, right is right, even if that means not just stealing other teams play calls but planning a whole defensive game around stealing their calls.

Nah, not military. She just appears to be an idiot that doesn’t understand football. And southern teams scare her so much she pees herself.
Hopefully the nuts scheme entirely around trying to avoid having their signals stolen. That will end well.

OHIO STATEs record vs southern teams Posted: Dec 28, 2020, 5:40 PM Reply
We all know Clemson leads the pack with a 4-0 record all time over ohio state
But Ohio State is 2-20-1 Combined all time against the following southern schools: Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, FSU, Georgia, LSU, South Carolina, Tennessee & Texas
Considering the South owns college football now, it may be awhile before the bucknuts win another Natty

Dear Ryan, did it ever occur to you that CBV is a master of studying game film and picks up on tendencies? Notre Dame started the sign stealing dialogue and how they put in measures to prevent it. We all know how that worked out.

Totally quit playing defense(after he left). He shut down some good teams with much lesser talent in some big games. This is not by accident or play stealing as in the post below.

By the end of the game (OT) we had 2 starters left on defense. They also prevented us from stealing signals this last game and were held to 3 points until garbage time. Good luck in the game, bud. You're going to need it.

Venables is in Day's mind. He reads it much as one would scan the comics and calls the defense. You're right Ryan. BV has spent the last few Februarys in Spring Training with the Astros. It's a hopeless cause, but give us some better excuses after another loss on Friday. I haven't heard long haul COVID utilized yet.

@RyanDay alias the Whiner is the worst at accepting the truth. He will not accept any version of events that do not make OSU look like a winner. The last time Clemson beat OSU he blamed officials, Venables stealing signs, Dabo for being Dabo and on the interception, he blamed the receiver for running a bad route. If you watched it, the problem was the QB just thew the wrong route. Obviously a good throw to the receiver would have a good chance of scoring. But the QB did not read the safety correctly. I hate it when the coach blames his players for losing. A stand up coach would have taken the blame for that play, not push it on to his players, especially his star QB.

If the Tiger Band tuba player hits one long note playing alone it has been radioed to him that a run to the right is coming. Two blasts from the trumpet means it's going left. Just the trombone going off means Nolan Turner should start backing up. Insider fans have known these things for a long time.

Eisenhower created an entire fantasy division to fool the Germans about Allied DDay plans. You would think Ryan Day could come up with some way to fool BV in a little ole football game.
https://www.mininggazette.com/news/2019/06/an-inflatable-army-helped-d-day-to-succeed/An inflatable Army helped D-Day to succeed DOVER — D-Day was an Allied codeword for the day selected for an amphibious landing; H-Hour was the planned time of day the invasion would begin. In this case, D-Day was the date selected for the invasion of northern France, the overall plan of which was named Operation Overlord. Operation Overlord was the largest joint-military […]

May be he's just calling for a different formation defensively based on the offensive call. That's called film work. Day be d=-*ed for insinuating anything underhanded. My take, it goes with the character of the HC. Seems he needs to take a humble pill or this is just just more BB credit to the Tigers. Dumb, just plain dumb, but he's still a sophomore coach.

I just have a hard time believing there are coaches in football that never played baseball at any level. Stealing signs is an everyday thing in baseball and is why baseball coaches at all levels change signs often. Talk about stealing signs is just plain stupid because you don't own the signs so they are fair game.

Ryan Day is just a cry-O-baby, and everybody knows it.
Another thing, it popped up in my notifications that a OcryO player was saying that if they needed extra motivation to beat Clemson, then HC Dabo Swinney provided them with it. I can tell OcryO this, from my 58 years of watching college FB, I've learned that if a team isn't prepared enough, or talented enough to beat an opponent, then they better come up with an excuse not to play bc, if it takes bulletin board material to play your best FB, then they're just not good enough to win, and they will lose if that's what they are depending on to get them over the hump.
My advice for Ocry-O-baby, Ryan Dark Day, if your team needs Bull Chit bulletin board material to get a win over Clemson, then they will be best served to leave everything on the bus that carried them to stadium, bc, it will save them a lot time at getting back to the airport for that long crying trip back to OcryO, where they should have stayed to saved the money they paid to travel across the country to get their A$$ES beat Because, bulletin board material want be near enough to save them from the clawing, and ripping our Tigers are going to do to them right before those striped Cats chew them up and chit them out!!!! Go Tigers, Tiger Nation is looking for a killing over those crying Fcknuts in the biggest Corral in Texass!!! #### YES!!!!

Turns out stoops wasn’t the real mastermind. As for stealing signals.... who knows? But if it’s that easy.... everyone would be stealing the signals. Maybe he’s just that good at analyzing formations and preparing his D for the three probabilities. It isn’t like his D doesn’t get scorched sometimes. He plays the odds... and well

Why does this keep coming up? It’s not illegal or cheating ...
If it’s really that big an issue ...then take countermeasures....
Allegedly ND did take countermeasures... And against our Defense at full strength they mustered 10 points ...
Here’s a more likely scenario - Brent Venables works his tail off everyday to be the best da@“ defensive coordinator in college football... and he’s got total buy in from our talented defensive players.... maybe it’s actually just that?

Coach Day Why does OSU struggle with little ol Clemson,
Dec 29, 2020, 7:07 AM

reporter asks? Umm Coach Myer said no one can beat us straight up, so Clemson has to steal our super secret signs. Coach but they have beaten OSU 4 times and coach Venables did not coach all those losses, are you saying Clemson has been stealing signs for 30 + years? Umm Umm well coach Myers did not leave me the answer for that question. He just told me he left the talent to win multiple NC and Clemson beat us so they had to cheat.
Blaming Clemson for your losses is as stupid as that written above.

I just find it so strange that all these coaches accuse Clemson of stealing signs when if that were the case wouldn't you figure it would be simply easy to make one signal mean the complete opposite and completely fool Clemson? So Ryan Day is saying he is so dumb he can't switch his signals up from week to week nor does he have the capability of fooling the Clemson defense.

How is this hinting at Brent Venables' sign-stealing ability? The man simply gave Venables a compliment

That's not stealing, that's solving a puzzle.

I agree with other comments I've seen on this, and similar stories about Clemson's sign stealing - if your signs are getting stolen, you're doing a lousy job of passing them along to the QB and/or protecting them. OSU may want to find someone who knows how to 'steal' Clemson's signs...
