So Clemson gave him a job so he would have income for a year?

You are 100% correct. He did a great job getting our offense moving. Then started chasing money. After he dumped SMU for Arkansas and then got canned I posted … Maybe he’s just a good coordinator and not a head coach. I got blasted for saying anything negative. Now I realize he could care less about the school and players. He’s in everything for number one.
Glad he’s gone. Hope he stays away.

So did I, but it didn't offend or bother me at all. I agree that our offense needed a boost and Chad helped out with that, but I've always thought that Chad also disrespected the opportunity that was offered to him by Dabo and Clemson, and I haven't cared about him since then...

I'm sure that you're right. But what I really don't get, is why do T-Net believe that what Chad Morris does is in some way important to Tiger Nation. I couldn't care any less about what he does or doesn't do...

I really don’t know why some folks on t-net enjoy throwing negative comments around so loosely esp criticizing others. There is that misbelief held by some that pushing others down makes the critic taller.
Chad came out of the state of TX a good pool for Clemson recruiting over the yrs and Chad helped that. Plus his sister was, maybe still is, the head womens soccer coach at Cinco Ranch H S, a major high school in Katy, TX outside Houston area. She had eyes for Clemson recruiting as well including my nephew who was a punter that ended up at Oklahoma although both of my nieces graduated from Clemson and have been great advocates of Clemson.
So why not look for the positives in life!!!

I got an idea ring in Jeff Scott as a special assistant to Dabo to replace Chad Morris and then if Grisham doesn’t do his job of getting these receivers up to speed and developed can move Jeff Scott to receiver coach.

With Jeff not already being back on the field as a help somewhere on the offensive side of the ball. I can't help but to think that maybe Jeff believes that he is above being a WR coach since he has been a HC, maybe not. I do wonder with him being back in Clemson as long as he has and he's still not a part of Dabos's staff on the field....

Guess you missed Hood’s update. Jeff stepped away from football and is building houses plus enjoying life. If he wanted to coach, he would already be coaching

I used to live in San Marcos, Texas and that school is a place to party and pick up chicks. Small time as it gets, their stadium is a joke. But, their head coach was one of ours for 5 minutes.
The Texas State coach was in Canton, Texas playing for his father when a players dad went in and shot his dad apparently for not playing his son. Kinne moved to a different town and won the state title. He signed with Texas, but left quickly and played at Tulsa, I believe. Apparently he’s a pretty good coach.
I don’t care for Morris but only beche went to the hater school, A$M.

By having him on the staff. Never intended for him to be a serious contributor to the team.
