He's obviously "gobsmacked" again. Always good when Clemson can do that to him.

That's the same thing he said the day after we whipped Alabama for the Championship in January 2019! Before the game he said Clemson was cute, but now they were playing Alabama, the best team of all time! He ate that crow.....
The Alabama Alumni were not as stunned as Finebaum....
With Saban gone, he is lost now; just like Biden without Obummer.
Go Tigers, win them one at the time! Our playoff starts now, we have to win every game!
Beat Louisville!

But you have to remember, Foundbloom, like most politicians and sportscasters, gets up every morning and tests which way the wind is blowing. Then he makes his story adapt to the "agenda of the day" for his employers at ESECPN. If you don't believe this, ask Sam Ponder!

That's not exactly true. Even Dabo admitted if he was at another school, he'd use the portal. I've heard many coaches state they were not fans of the portal. So let's not act like Dabo is some type of huge visionary. He's not anti portal and actually tried to get several guys in the off-season.
Y'all act like a coach either uses the portal or not. There's a happy medium and the coaches hoisting the trophy recently have adapted and used the portal.

Not that I like the portal, especially in its current state, but I'm pretty sure Dabo's major complaints is poaching.

I hope Coach Dabo does find a way to get it done without the portal. To me the portal just puts a stake in the heart of what we older guys grew up with in college football. " Be true to your school?"' no more loyalty, demise of school tradition and spirit. Yea, I know that is old hat, but it was what made college football great. Money has ruined it. Look at Florida State. Those guys could care less about FS and traditions. They are in it for themselves and the $$. Maybe we will learn, But probably not. I wonder what college football will look like in 20 years?

Given all the crap he slung our way in pre-season, I think he is trying to pretend he is objective in case we actually make the playoffs. Remember, "Dabo's elite status is over."

former Penn State quarterback and current NBC analyst, Todd Blackledge, sits next to me in one of the airport lounges. He noticed the Clemson tag on my bag and started-up a conversation. Genuinely nice guy.

It pleases me to no end when someone has to eat a little crow. I think it is important to observe that PF never really comes out and says he was wrong. Just that he is surprised. Not the same thing. A man who cannot apologize when he is wrong is no man at all. It is not beneficial character trait, it is a character flaw! Those that cannot or will not humble themselves should receive a red hot river up their rosy red Recktum!!

Wow....as a child, I remember reading the story in the Bible about God speaking through a donkey. I guess when it comes to getting the message out about Clemson's current 2024 football performance God has chosen to use a big ear, bald head, loud mouth jack@ss.

Great analogy:
When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she lay down under Balaam, and he was angry and beat her with his staff. Then the LORD opened the donkey's mouth, and she said to Balaam, "What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?" Balaam answered the donkey, "You have made a fool of me!
Balaam Finebum... it fits!
