Additionally, is there a stadium anywhere in Canada that could accommodate an NFL team? I'm certainly no expert on Canadian sports venues, but I don't think there is stadium in the entire country that seats more than 35,000 people which is well below the average 70,000 capacity among all 30 NFL stadiums.

a global footprint. They have a series of rotating games in London so that might be the option as well. There would be a huge sports market in being the only Canadian NFL team in the league in comparison to the Charlotte market. And players adapting to a time schedule to play in Canada would be alot easier than one that shifts over to London so I think it would be Canada before London. Stadium-wise they would probably have to build just as London would. Tepper is not the type to worry about anything other than investment potential. Jerry Richardson was at least invested in the area. This guy seems to be about as fickle as they come.

with a seating capacity greater than 60,000 and of those. four seat more than 74,000. Of course, Wembley and Twickenham are both upwards of 80,000.

While Tepper is here go show him the NFL helmet wall in the football center so they can see first hand how ridiculous it is that they are the ONLY team that hasn't drafted a player from Clemson in NFL history. The first time I saw that on a tour of the locker room and football facility at Death Valley it was shocking. All these names on 31 other teams except for the panthers..and i think maybe there was one other team like the vikings or somebody but the local team has no excuse at all other than some kinda bias in the front office or on the donor board.
Somebody on staff go take a photo of that wall and blast it on the megatron while they have this fan fest please.

The left Cleveland about the same time Panthers stated up. That franchise had drafted Clemson players. Ravens have drafted Tigers 2 years in a row - don’t remember if others since the mid 90s move. Also, they’ve had other Clemson guys they picked up via FA.

we have a First Friday Parade going on and a Home Soccer Game vs Stanford - sounds like a great idea. First Friday is typically crowded enough for a Friday afternoon in Clemson without adding a bunch of “outsiders”. Not to mention, App St is a “local” team with a sizeable fanbase some of which would think would want to show up early to experience Clemson(which they are more than welcome) not the Panthers. Pantherfest was not a needed add-on particularly to that weekend.

Info elsewhere that painted this as prior to 1st home game and thought they meant the day prior. Still don’t like it based on Panthers lack of respect over the years. Day prior to 1st home game didn’t make a lot of sense anyway as NFL is probably starting that weekend. My apologies
