Yes it is great news, but I hope that coach Bakich is a little cautious for the first few innings and will be ready to pull him at the first sign of him not being at the top of his game after being out for so long.
I know that Tristan has been out with an ankle injury, but I'm sure he has been throwing some with his ankle still being a little sore, and if I was his coach, I would be looking to make sure that he hasn't developed any bad habits bc his ankle was still sore...

Welcome back Tristan. The timing is perfect. Let's keep this mid-season slump short and get back to our winning ways. Losing Cuefa is tough, for we need that excellent defense, particularly up the middle, but we can adjust, move forward, and look forward to having him back next year.

That's a solid 3....I think eventually Knaak will move up to the Fri or Sat role. I see him and Smith being that 1-2 punch going into the post season. But Darden has pitched really well as of late as well. Good problem to have, as long as the offense gets it going and the errors go away.

Other than the pic and listing in the series rotation group, no mention in the article. Was expecting a bit of detail like given for the guy now out for the season.
