Before every home game in high school he touches a rock and runs out onto the field... that has to be a good omen.

He is that Bama running back that nobody can tackle since 2007.

Haha that was a good one ????. I want to land this guy, he is a beast on both sides of the ball and would love to see him with a tiger Paw on his helmet. His stats are amazing and his film shows his talent level is ridicoulous. Let's reel this big fish in Dabo. Go Tigers!!

Yeah that, and the speaker assuming he will play in the SEC. Made some comment about how he will do there.

Highly recommend everyone to watch that second video, 'The Recruit'. Wherever he goes, someone is going to get a humble, motivated young man who has his head in the right place. Come on down to Clemson Q.

Over 3k yards in a season in the exact same offensive system as us...Has to be a huge...Cant let these stupid SEC programs sell him on the pro-style...
IMO, this kid is a must get for the position. Its time we close the gap on these North Carolina RBs that we have missed on in the past...Gurly, Marshall, or White etc...

IF, and I do mean IF, if we are recruiting this kid for the defensive side of the ball, our coaches may as well strike a broad line through his name right now bc, we don't stand a snowball chance in h&ll of signing this kid with the RB talent he has for a defensive position bc it ain't happening.
I love RBs of his caliber with the vision, speed and the decisiveness he has when picking his path getting to the second and third level of a defense. IMO, he isn't a RB that does those stutter steps that equals to indecision of where he should go next and getting gang tackled bc of their indecision. I would love to see Dabo and Elliot get this guy signed in as a RB. I think that even though to early to tell, but IMO, it's a good possibility that with Crouch's talent, he could become a Todd Gurley type RB for Clemson. They both are about equal in size and talent but, Gurley was a 4star recruit, and Crouch is a 5star recruit. And if Crouch could come close to or break Gurley's 3900 rushing yards in his college career, that would be a treat for Tiger nation to watch.

and his HS coach says he's even better there. Claims he is next Lawrence Taylor. Certainly would increase draft stock and longevity in NFL - jus sayin.

I know some are projecting him to be a LB but it would be awesome to have a big bruiser at running back. Someone along the lines of 230 lbs...

I hope that this young guy doesn’t make the same mistake Elijah Hood made and selects a school that will not help him develop. Hood would be a pro now if he had decided on the Tigers. The report that I read says that Clemson wants him as a linebacker. That is some huge numbers for a running back but Dabo knows where this kid will fit in.

Yep, UNC took one of the most talented RB in NC history
Mar 30, 2018, 12:56 PM
|
|
and did not develop him at all! He ended up being a 7th rd pick and signed to the practice squad.
Hood cost himself millions of dollars, and will never be on a 53-man roster - meaning he will never get anything more than a practice squad paycheck. The NFL does not have time to develop players, and that is why choosing the right school is so important. The NFL drafts on ability, not potential. UNC is not, and never will be a football school.

I'm always a little skeptical when I see those kind of numbers. Surely he is playing in some 1A private school league..Nope.. Harding is a 4A school with 1,600 kids. It'd be a 5A in SC. He's playing against the big boys and dominating. They went 14-1 and won the state title last season. This would be a big get. He reminds me of Gallman, but bigger and faster.. Go get'em Dabo!!!

I would love for Clemson to land this guy. But when Georgia is involved with a RB, and especially one from North Carolina, it is cause for great concern. Also I am worried about Alabama, as he is the big athletic type of RB that Saban covets.
Yet should lightning strike and Clemson actually beat Georgia and Alabama out for a top RB, then you must wonder where to play this guy? He is obviously good on both sides. Could their be a situation in this day and time where he could play some RB and LB? I know it happens occasionally with WRs and DBs.

Better than that... look at Wilkins. Even DL and RB are an option. There is no reason he couldn't play LB if he wants and still be able to get in at RB for 3rd down gotta- have- it kind of plays.
Three staff will use talent. They've shown that.

This kid is going to where he believes he can win championships, and as of now, the only NC school that can win championships is Duke and UNCheat in basketball, and he is best at FB.

Living here in Charlotte area, I have seen this kid

play several times as well as seen him featured on Friday night highlights. Kid is the real deal.
And if you don’t know much about Harding HS in Charlotte, I suggest you take a look. It literally might be the poorest, most crime ridden school in Charlotte. They literally practice in dirt and depend on a couple other HS to provide them equipment.
I only say this because this kid is achieving things in a place where there are a lot of distractions. He would make a good fit at clemson. Sure hope we get him.

Mar 30, 2018, 12:48 PM

He is special on the football field, which is why he has offers from Bama et al., but he is a special person as well, which is why Clemson has offered.
His faith, his upbringing, his commitment to be special, his willingness to be coached are all things that make him the exact player that Dabo wants on his team.
His proximity to Clemson also has to be an advantage for us. I like our chances here.
