It's sad...fervent support of all things Clemson is the main reason I have visited this site for many years. I miss posts by RevDodd and Joe21. Sadly, it seems posts lacking substance and full of personal attacks rule the day around here. This community seems irreparably fractured...Go Tigers (all sports, all the time)!

You’re not wrong. It’s not 100% right either. Any open forum is a cesspool. We’re infiltrated by a bunch of jealous SEC guys who try to stir things up. You just have to vote with your feet. TD any imposters. Only read posts by those you know and trust.

Well, the list is long of coots and sec chest thumpers. TennesseeVol comes to mind quickly. IntrepidWill (I have a sneaking suspicion he’s Gamecock Will that calls WCCP) is another. About the only non Clemson fan that’s an asset is BretFSU.
There are many good Clemson people that I regularly read their posts because it’s always positive, great content.
Then we have those that whine the game is over before it’s close to over. They’re hanging off the edge ready to jump and it’s nowhere near time. I’ve been known to get negative during a game but I always try to qualify it with I’m praying for a miracle Clemson win.
Then there are those that think they are insiders but are blaring opinions. They claim to be spewing facts and stats but bring no citations. A quick google search can disprove their claims or show they are exaggerated.
But that’s part of being an open forum.

Gotta agree the posts during games are many times over the top. I tend to avoid TNet on football game days and wait until Sunday to catch up with those that survived until the next day. So many of those posts are rapid-fire one and done negative comments that are gone from the front page by Sunday morning.

notice. We remove a lot of threads and warn / ban a lot of accounts. You just don't notice because they are gone. With the volume we have we will not catch everything, so it really helps us out if you hit the RA button as needed. Thanks!
As far as a post reminding people, that might be a good idea from time to time. I think when we send out a warning, I'll starting including a link to the rules.

You can call out another poster for misinformation. You just can’t call out people with personal attacks. I’ve called out SEC shrills with no backlash. Except from SEC homers. You have to leave out keywords and imply them. 🤣

I'm just kidding. Actually, the owners kinda let folks run wild when there's not football news. I believe they understand that without new of football readers aren't sufficiently entertained. As compensation they loosen the reigns and let posters run free for a while.
Typically Crump® and B-Meist® take the reigns gently and don't lean back too hard to get us use to conforming to forum rules.
Don't think that just because no one's getting snake bitten that the vipers are all dead. Snakes don't move that fast when the night temps drop into the 40s.
