I have a feeling the IPTAY survey has indicated that IPTAY donors have been squeezed for about as much money as possible. If IPTAY levels are greatly increased, Bluffton Orangeman is going to have to go find those replacement donors that are supposedly lined up to replace us. (Bluffton Orangeman, no disrespect to you personally but, schools not in the Big 10 and Sec are are very close to lose losing their football programs.)

IPTAY isn't a NIL collective. It has nothing to do with my previous comments about NIL.
It's baffling why people continue to conflate those two very different things.
Did you miss Dabo's recent comments about revenue sharing?
Did you miss the potential for corporate sponsorships like Oregon, Michigan, and Tennessee have?

I understand the difference between the two. But go back and look at where this entire thing started. It was about the athletes sharing in the millions of dollars that are generated by college football. For Clemson to maximize revenue sharing(not NIL) and add the additional scholarships (54% increase at a cost of six million dollars) , more money is needed.
If Clemson is relying on IPTAY donors to close the money gap, you will see a potential mass exodus of donors. Once that happens, what is going to happen to Clemson athletics?
This entire mess is going to end up hurting more football players than it is going to help. Look at the students than can no longer help teams as a walkon. Look at the number is players sticking the transfer portal. In a couple of years, we can talk about the current teams that are no longer fielding D1 football teams.

Awesome, TY. I think that milestone date is extremely helpful for Clemson's planning; seems like both Neff and Dabo in his Tuesday presser had confidence with the clarity.

Also, regardless of how some may feel about his performance, Neff is a young man, a young AD, and in the midst of a historical overhaul to college sports.
In my opinion, he has been managing this well, even-handed, and looking at the entirety of our sports programs and not just football. Kudos.

The poaching of the 2025 class has been absolutely absurd. So many siren songs in these kids' ears it's nearly impossible to not get led astray by one.
