to finish probably .500 in ACC again. This is big benefit if he gets to play international which will help build comaradarie.
Glad we got good news but we will never get over the hump at this rate. 1&dones either grad transfers or transfers that only stay a year we will continue to struggle. Its not like we are getting 5* talent for 1&dones, so my thoughts would be we just are not building a team that is fully invested in Clemson or the team. You need a group that has each other's back and if you only know people for 9mos, kind of hard to build that investment into the team and school.

When you go to a wedding do you congratulate the groom but tell him you wish the bride was a little more attractive? Our basketball has not gotten over the hump in our 100 year history. It appears our Admin is not willing to invest and we don’t pay the handlers so we need to celebrate each and every commitment. Hopefully we play a more uptempo style given our size which will make our program more attractive to recruits

Agree we need a coach that can recruit high school players and plays uptempo. Good pickup not a good look for our program

Since our hundred year history is essentially break even and lucky to get a NIT birth you could say that about anyone coaching basketball at clemson

Brad actually was recruiting him out of high school but he chose to go with Shaka to Texas. That went sour so he went with Bama and Avery Johnson as we had no spots at the time. We were in his final 3 coming out of high school. He and Trapp played together during the AAU circuit also.

Glad to hear some positives and seeing that this young man wants to finish his college BB career at Clemson. We are turning into a transfer portal basketball team though. Ask how that worked for USC, two good years then fell off the face of the earth again. Not a great trend to be excited about.

is comprised of players we recruited out of high school.
Also, transfers are commonplace in college basketball. It isn't unique to Clemson. You're starting to see it more in football as well.

He had a great year at Texas . . . only so so with Alabama. Hopefully we can get him back to his Texas playing. Perhaps its the way a certain ex Clemson coach was using him at Texas
