I believe he could in the right situation but with his injury history this may be a blessing.

Yea if they measured his heart he would be starting, but competition gets stiff on that level. He still may make a team in the near future.

Skalski was an absolute joy to watch playing linebacker. Lots of great memories. Good luck Jaimie.

the NFL would have enough players for several hundred teams.
Hopefully he will get an opportunity with another team, perhaps on special teams.

Glad to hear Spector made it because our great (for us) backers are never fast enough to cover in the league. The NFL is a different animal from the NCAA.

Exactly. Good college player like boulware. Sounds like Goodwin is trying to change that too.

I would love to see him back in a coaching capacity at Clemson at some point.

NFL practice squad, CFL, coach? We know he has a bright future with two Clemson degrees (Communications / Master's in Athletic Leadership) and his sustained level of effort & leadership. Looks like he's on the coaching track intermediate/long term. He knows his craft.

I know we say it about many former Clemson players but I truly believe this guy can be a position coach in the college game. His passion, intensity, love, and respect for the game would make him a great mentor on and off the field. If he can't hook on with a team I would love for Dabo to offer him a position.

Not surprised he got waived at all. The dumbest thing I saw on national tv was that he was checking out our secondary when the ball was snapped. I was never a fan of his.

You truly are ignorant for saying that. He and Boulware were beasts and defensive qb's at the same time. Go change your garnet diaper.

Waived = younger player than can be picked up by other teams after a certain amount of time
Released = Veteran who can sign with any team and does not have to go through waivers.

I bet he would be a great coach. And we know how much Dabo loves hiring former players. Would love to see Skalski and Nolan join on as grad-assistants. But, coaching isn't for everyone.

Sounds kinda like Nolan has a real good chance at making a practice squad and perhaps moving up the ranks one day.
Would like to see Skalski as a GA if that's what he wants.

I'm all for them playing as long as possible. They just seemed like really cerebral players when they were here. They got by with their minds, not so much their talent. Seems like those type of players could transition easier to coaching.
