I was surprised when I saw his tweet. He specifically thanked Dabo and Clemson fans and Did Not mention Kirby Smart or any UGA coach by name. Seemed much more like a thank you sent to Clemson. I thought it was an unusually nice message and surprising!

Maybe the dismissal woke him up and got his life on track. If it did then that’s what we want in the end. It’s not all about football but about the kids and preparing them for life. Or did you forget that?

It is of interest since he nicely thanked Coach Swinney and the Clemson fans. I wish DK could have pulled it together and remained a Tiger--it's not like he wasn't given many chances to do so.

Best wishes to DK - he didn’t want to get kicked off the team. He had some growing up to do. And then he went and got another ring. If Clemson is mostly about building good men, put this one in the W column.

I respectfully disagree. I like my job and I don't want to lose it, so I go to work and do the necessary things in order for me to keep it. If he didn't want to get kicked off the team, he should have shown up, communicated with the coaching staff and work hard. I guess after he seen that coach Sweeney was not playing with him he took his second opportunity more seriously. Good for him. But he let Clemson and his teammates down with what he did at Clemson. Thus causing him to get kicked off the team.

Maybe you have been fortunate enough to never make a mistake that put you in a position to need a second chance. If that is the case I can see how you don’t understand. I for one am extremely thankful for someone giving me a second chance when I made my dumb college kid mistakes. And I learned from them and led a productive life afterward.

Interested to see what kind of NFL career he will have. When he played well, he played really well. He would also have games where he would get toasted more than once. He looked awful in the LSU Championship game. Those are the guys that are playing in the NFL. He looked great against Michigan. Those dudes won’t be playing in the NFL.

I know fans on this board seem to dislike or hate you but I’ll never forget you switching from WR to CB for the team.
Congrats on two National Championships! You were the only bright spot when UGA won that game.

He will be a huge success in the NFL and become a role model for other youngsters. I hope his personal issues are behind him and long gone! Big bucks can ruin a youngster if they are allowed to do so. We don’t need to look very far to find a Clemson player who has let us down.

Good luck in the NFL, DK. I wished you had stayed at Clemson, but sometimes a change of scenery can make a huge difference. I know by your comments that the impact Coach Sweeney had on you made you a better man.

Will be interesting to see if Booth or DK has a better NFL career - expect Booth will be picked before DK but the Combine scores could affect that outcome.
