Maybe he would also be surprised to get sued for unsolicited testimony in the case.

I love DRad. I’m sure he’d prefer to stay in the ACC. Money is not an issue like SMU. Billion dollars donors, private school, and gobs of money from Miami Health. Until there is no playoff access or a totally different system, he will stay content.

I can assure you money is no issue at SMU. Probably one of the top ten richest alumni bases in the nation.
And Miami may have outside money, but when are they going to start contributing instead of taking from the ACC revenues? No different than Pitt, BC, WF, GT, VA and VT for that matter.

But by no means is a decision like that left up to the AD level, and if so then we have a leadership problem.

If he is truly surprised by this action, then he is a dullard. We know that is not the case. Therefore, he is just blowing hot air knowing that the U is not one of the pretty girls at the dance. I don’t know of any SEC or BIG10 schools that have to rent a stadium for home games.

Good reason!
That doufus thought it a good idea to drop Men’s Track and Field right at the thick of BLM, DEI/CRT Bull$hit!!! Uh, Mr Retard-a-Dovich, Sir! Men’s Teaxk is a predominantly Black Male Sport! Duh!
Not only did Clemson lose in court, and had to pay all of the Plaintiff’s legal fees (Note: Plaintiffs were represented by the same firm that forced Brown and Stanford to reinstate all of their dropped Sports), at an amount of approx $300,000 k, BUT, the AD was forced to reinstate the Men’s Track program, THEN bring Women’s Athletics up to spending par with Men’s by having to ADD two more non revenue generating programs! (Women’s LAX & Gymnastics!)
No, Rada-dipstick was quietly given the door…
Miami was a step backwards as far as direction of Athletics are concerned.
Radakovich came on AFTER Dabo, kept Brownell, hired Monte, Hired the WBB Coach we just fired…
He got lucky by heading the Program and staying out of Dabo’s way. NOT a genius for sure…

DRAD sucks. He provided poor leadership at GT, at Clemson and now he is doing the same thing at Miami. What great coach did Drad hire at Gatech or Clemson?
I am glad he left Clemson and I noticed that our administration made ZERO effort to retain him or to even think about matching his Miami salary offer.
Radakovich's best move at AD at Clemson was staying out of Dabo's way.

Listen Tiger fans. This issue is one of fairness to a University. Not a conference. DRad is an Administrator. In simpler terms he is a small minded manager that creates budgets and ensures all abide. He has no vision other than the obvious of going from GT to CU and then to Miami. Good riddance. I don’t know the merits of our case with the ACC but it seems we are carrying more than our load in sports and getting less than our fair share. Dead should have been smart enough to shut up. Nuff said.

If "fair share" is going to be your argument, you're going to be extremely disappointed going to the SEC or the Big 10. Schools like Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Rutgers, Maryland, and Northwestern get the same money as Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, LSU, and Georgia. So be prepared for more the same if a conference move happens.

What do you expect him to say? He is on the outside looking in and has to have the ACC to stay relevant at all. Every AD not from FSU or Clemson have all said the same thing. Toe the party line until you are trapped in the cave in if you want to. Meanwhile Clemson will be moving on to other pastures where ever they are.

reported as one of the 7 ACC schools examining the grant of rights in detail to determine how unbreakable it is, and exploring its options? Why was Miami against adding the 3 schools to supposedly solidify the league? Is Miami happy with a league that added the 3 schools anyway when just 1 vote (NCST) made this controversial decision that so many opposed?
I think this is just AD speak to stay out of the fray for the mean time. I guarantee if FSU or Clemson win on their suits, Miami will be right there jumping ship.
