If we view Alabama as a program that does things the right way and doesn't have to buy its roster, then a decommit from Alabama might just be the kind of kid that would sign with us.

Just a thought.

To be fair, I think many got the Saban discount—players were definitely willing to make less money to be coached by Saban. Maybe Clemson has the Swinney discount too?

Isn’t this the kid that decommitted and Kirby flew to his school minutes later in a yellow and black helicopter? Was on the TV news in Augusta.

I like our chances with this guy. Seems like Matt Luke is letting Dabo know the kinds of kids we need to recruit at OLine, real road graders like John Simpson. I think we have some talent at OL this season, just young and inexperienced. This young man looks like he's ready to plug and play. Hope we get him.

From the Bostic's to the Fry, Fry, Bennet trio, to some of the newer Big Uglies. Have to have good feet too for pass blocking.

Wow. I would hate to be the new coach. Just about every starter and commit has fled bammer. Bammer is gonna take years to recover from this. I'm not jumping with glee. All those recruits have to go somewhere. Unfortunately, not many seem to be coming here.

Kid lives close to me and rumor is that he has been waiting on a Clemson offer and would really love to come here.

Like I said, just a rumor but I definitely like our chances with him.

Congrats on the offer, Mason. Clemson is an AMAZING place.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

Dabo and the kids mom are the smallest people in that room, and it was close to being a tie to who the smallest was...

The way Coach Swinney operates. Gives me the feeling he knows what he is doing.

I’ll be surprised if my team doesn’t have a quality year.
Get past that first game and ……

Come to Clemson and get immediate play. As long as you out in the work. Looks like he is ready to play now. Go Tigers!!

A big-time recruit like him at a position of great need could be a major difference maker. With how thin our line is on high-end talent right now he could have a massive individual impact. I have no idea what he's looking for though, so I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic. But I don't think it's possible to overstate the impact that he would have if he chose to come here. He could change the caliber of that entire position group, and perhaps the trajectory of the whole team.
