Agree. Don't care for that at all. Looks like Miami or Tulane. Hopefully they will be purple. TCU has purple so it can be done.

What is the locker room like for the opponent? I hate it when I hear with other schools that the visitor's locker room is a dump and stuff doesn't even work, like A/C, etc. I hope we have a nice locker room for visitors. It makes you look like a real chump when you give visitors sub-par facilities.

It's carpeted with sizeable ventilated metal lockers and padded folding chairs.
Some schools firmly believe that the visiting team locker room should have no amenities to make it as rough a setting as possible (within reason) for the visiting team.
Take Iowa for example where the visiting team locker room is painted pink. At Arkansas, they just have some metal folding chairs, a small shelf, and some clothes hooks. It's pretty basic.
Mike Leach tells a funny story about Mississippi State being the worst he's ever seen. He said it had two commodes (without seats) sitting out in the middle of the main locker room area and with just one roll of TP between them. No lockers and no chairs.

Putting in actual seats in every spot would decrease capacity considerably. UNC and USC (the real one) both did this and saw their capacities decrease by 10,000+ seats each, since the seatbacks and armrests require more space than bleachers do.

thought it would be cool to have a Braves " Chop House" type of overlook for fans to eat and drink in the corner of the EastZone.
I do like we are increasing capacity to over 83,000. Just enough. Only thing I was hoping to improve all the concourses with bigger TV's, better food, and overall appearance.
Still I am happy with the designs.

I mostly love the updates, but I have a problem and a way to solve it. For 20 years, my season ticket seats have been in TDK row (north) 1. I consider these to be among the best seats in the stadium for seeing the game and the home bench. However, those who sit at the goal line or closer to the east end zone cannot see the big scoreboard above the east end zone. Ideally, the east end zone scoreboard should be duplicated on top of the west end zone structure to be fair to all fans at the game. If this can't be done for some reason that I don't know about, an alternative is to move the east scoreboard backward to a suitably tall tower on the opposite side of Williamson Road.
I understand there is a cost associated with either idea, but approximately 4-6 sections of fans in the top deck particularly are too close the see the east scoreboard and too far away to see the west end zone boards (for replays and so forth). As one of the IPTAY members whose tickets are in those sections, I would really like the updates to help out those stuck in the "nether regions" of the stadium as well as all the other great fans.

My understanding is that the WEZ foundations were built to support 1-2 more identical levels of Club Seating to the one level existing today.
So, my guess is that they’re still thinking long term on that and a scoreboard there would definitely throw a wrinkle in it. That’s why we added the small corner screens several years back.
The Williamson Road idea isn’t bad, but the Scroll of Honor is there and they’re not going to remove a memorial for a screen.

Totally agree! I am 6 rows behind you in G. They either need to make the WZ boards big enough for us to see or put small boards on the side of the big board to face us...
Also is it too much to ask for them to bring our RR in to this century. I am tired of sword fighting with dudes at half time over those ridiculous steel troughs! I would rather P on the wall like cootville...

As an aging Class of 82 IPTAY member who sits on Row Y in the South Upper Deck (that is 4 steps per each letter = 100 steps up to my row), I would love a stadium improvement priority be placed on installation of an escalator to each of the Upper Decks, South and North sides. Take me to the top of my deck, then I can walk DOWN to my row. I may even leave my seat DURING THE GAME for a bathroom visit or to visit the concessions.
Come On Board Of Directors! Show a little compassion to those alumni who have donated our entire lives, but may be "cycling out" of live game participation due to health issues. Not handicapped, but no spring chicken either. How about OUR fan enjoyment? It is a difficult climb, especially after walking in from LOT 23 parking area in 90 degree heat!

My guess is strategically situated "club" seating to replace bleacher seating. No other way to get premium seats without adding a level to the West Zone (for where there are old renderings) or building an entirely new building over the Hill.

I had sideline seats on the 6th row and hated them!
Pleaded for a trade and ended up with wonderful seats on the top row of the old WEZ.
Everybody laughed and said the were crap seats, but now you pay top dollar to get to watch the game from up there.
Field level premium seats? Blech!!

New video board is nice and the fact it’s raised up gives a nice view of the field from the street. However, those new seats in each corner look like they will obstruct 80% of the view of the campus up the hill around the scoreboard. For this reason I give it 2 thumbs down.

make the video board ultra high definition. (assuming 4k would be a little much to ask). make audio localized so that, for instance, you don't have to broadcast to the entire stadium that someone needs to come pick grandad up from concessions. If grandad knows what seats his family is in, the request could be localized to that stadium section.
