He keeps saying Clemson's schedule is "pretty vanilla" with their one quality win against A&M, but he forgets that Bama's schedule is also "pretty vanilla," with their only quality win against *gasp* A&M. And, yeah, they lost, but to LSU, another of their precious SEC teams. They seem to not care that they lost at home, either. Doesn't matter, though. Finebaum is a hypocrite, SEC lover, ACC and Clemson hater. Haters gonna hate.

That's the thing though, and why I say people are often too sensitive and take comments too seriously. I've never heard him say that we don't belong in the playoff, or that we wouldn't make it. I've heard him say early in the season that he'd rank us behind a few teams based on how we'd look to that point in the season. In fact, I recall hearing him say several times early in the season that he thought our team was trying too hard to live up to expectations by playing perfect, and that we also looked bored and were just waiting for the playoffs based on the level of competition.
He's not my favorite person in the world, but people tend to take comments such as "they haven't looked like the best team in the country so far" and run with it to mean that person is saying we don't belong in the playoffs, or that it's impossible for us to win the NC.
