What McElroy is saying now is good, bet the bank that the he will be hammering Clemson and Dabo in 2 to 3 years bc IMO the bad hires that Dabo made even though he is correcting those mistakes, they have and still are hurting us in recruiting worse than it has in a long time. I say bc when looking at our recruiting in 2024, 2025, and so far in 2026 it's not as good as it has been prior to the mistake coaching hires.

In 2024 we recruited 2-5 stars, 10-4 stars, and 10-3 star players, and that was a lot of 3-star player for one recruiting class. 2025 we have 1-5 star, 5-4 stars, and 9-3 star players. In the 24 and the 25 we have signed or have committed 15-4 star players and 19-3 star players, and 2026 so far, we have 5-3 star players and 1 Not Rated players committed. 2024, 2025, and 2026 we have to date, signed and committed 15-4 star players and 24-3 star players. Those bad coaching hires have hurt our Tiger FB team much worse than most fans has realized. I'm almost sure that after next season we are going to see our FB team struggle just to win 8-9 games until our coaching changes takes effect in our recruiting. I hope that I'm dead wrong, but I don't think that I am.

I know there will be all of our 3 star guys that were under rated out there, but that is what 4 maybe 5 3 star players that turned out really well out how many 3 star guys we've recruited that did nothing over the years, I would say we've recruited a lot of 3 star players that really never made it to be anything special...
