already played in 4 games this season. Looks like we aren't planning on saving him for postseason to save his redshirt.

I highly doubt Brown will play. Especially against the Citadel. Take this depth chart with a grade of slaw.

Good to see Hampton pushing Lukus.. his play looked a step down vs the run Saturday which he normally is a bit stronger at than his coverage. Hopefully the competition will be good the rest of the year

I agree 100%. Hampton has passéd him. He is a unicorn for a DB. His height and athleticism, with his all out effort make him special!

Hoping all of these players on the Depth Chart are 90 - 100% healthy. Maffah has looked slow and banged up the last few games. I'd really like to see other RBs in this game to rest Maffah. In fact, even if Maffah was 100%, I'd like to see us play other RBs.... and maybe a speedy/shifty runner. Different running styles might make us less predictable.

Let’s hope it is a situation where all of the starters are resting after the 1st quarter. 3-4 drives are enough to to work on things and stay sharp.

It is easy to criticize the OL performance last week, but their role is really like a complicated dance, and all the partners were shuffled. Having some time and the Citadel game to get those steps right is critical for the remainder of the season, whether we make the playoffs or not.

I agree the OL is about chemistry and reps against different looks…it will take time but I’m encouraged by progress since Luke. As far as D, I’ve seen as much typical amazing Tiger D as I’ve seen OMG how much room can we give a runner/receiver to gain yards… not during garbage time..this is with 1s and 2s!!! I read KBs statement about playing free=fast but does that equal great D or …what exactly??? My wife won’t let me yell at the TV anymore because frustrations yield bad language…I also know these games will help indiv stats so I fully expect to see 1/2 until halftime. But I think Mafah is wearing down too. I think he def should come out 2-3 plays after any full effort run/big run. And I’d love to see multiple RBs just to cultivate our future near and far. That’s something Dabo has been good with but I haven’t seen it much here this year (perhaps it’s some payback for last year?). Go Tigers!!!

You are right. Playing the OL is a complex dance. This is why most OL aren’t rotated like the DL. All 5 are working in tandem and learn how to read their partners to execute the plays.
