Very happy to see Anthony Simmons remembered by organizations other than this board. He was an amazing linebacker. He covered space so fast. He was a football player that made you watch a play develop. Just when you thought a running back was going to turn the corner, Anthony Simmons got to the space faster and made the tackle.

Simmons is up there with my favorite Tigers of all time. He was the best player on the field his first day of practice. Amazing LB.

I was thinking the same thing about Justin Miller. While he was pretty good during his Clemson career, his freshman season was something else. Actually talked to him while he was practicing KO catches before a Monday Night Football game when he was with the Jets playing in Atl.

Another one, although not a Tiger was Dre Bly at NC.

Not sure how Sammy Watkins is easily not top 10 or better. At the time, he was only one of 4 true freshmen since the 1930s to make AP 1st team A-A.

Not sure if I'm safe here yet, but the list is BS if no mention of Dexter Lawrence in 2016. He had 6.5 sacks and 62 total tackles and stat after stat. He was a beast on day one.
