I don't like it, hopefully they haven't ranked us at 13th to fast, and I wish they would have waited until we got into our ACC schedule before placing us at #13.

would LOVE for this to finally be the year to break through, win some ACC & NCAA Tourney games and have US wear that Cinderella slipper into the Final Four . . . .
Not getting my hopes up one tiny bit, however . . . . we have a guy who puts 6 guys on the court at the end of the game.
But maybe this year is different . . . . .

More importantly, at least so far, 0 Quad 4 losses. By this time last year we already had 2 Quad 4 losses, although I think SCAR eventually dragged themselves out the Quad 4 before the end of the season.
Gotta get through Queens and Radford. Memphis would not be a Quad 4 loss, if we do not succeed there. And we can usually be pretty sure no ACC teams would present a Quad 4 challenge, although that turned out to not be the case last year, and we failed by dropping that game to Louisville at NET #314.
Avoid dropping these upcoming Quad 4/Quad 3 games and take that away from the Committee's arsenal for snubbing the team again.

Memphis is a really big, talented and experienced team and we have our hands full Saturday. If we can find a way to come home with a win, we should be 12-0 with a couple of cupcakes coming up.

So, I’m guessing we are now about to give Brownell an extension? Thats usually what happens when we get relevant every 4-5 years. I hope we do great but I’ve seen this movie a couple of times now. Forgive me for my pessimism.

Quad One games we play. And even if they are Quad One now, they can quickly evaporate away into something lower, is that not right? If that IS right, then this truly is a STUPID system. Wins should remain what you thought they were at the time. Changing rankings to downgrade (or in the case of the SEC, UPGRADE,) wins is an old ESPN tactic.
