In a way this helps explain why Dabo has played two or three other LBs thus far this season. Joseph is a super player but Davis has played well and has a lot of snaps already and the new guy is a star just waiting for the chance. Linebacker play is a key against an option team but Dabo will have them ready. Someone will have the assignment to key on the Tech QB and it will be a good player. Joseph likely would have been the guy.

D O'Daniel had the key QB reads the last few years, which is why he had such monster games against Tech... Simmons has the size and ability to be DOD 2.0 and I hope he has a breakout game tomorrow playing that spot.

Certainly hate to hear this and feel bad for KJ. But this is precisely why Dabo insists on getting meaningful reps for backups and developing depth as quickly as possible. I don't expect this to have any real bearing on the outcome of the game. #wetoodeep

Yeah I recall when they announced the Davis twins would be on the team many of us here frowned and botched about them taking 2 spots and several saying they would never play a meaningful down at Clemson. Guess some of you are eating crow now. Go Tigers go stomp on some bees!!!!!

So, tigerdave2®, I was reading through this post and actually got a little chuckle out of your reference to the mascot (Mizzoo Tiger, I recall) that had the t-shirt gun incident, but got a little heavy with the finger while up-scrolling and ass-I-dentally td’d you my friend!
