Yep, looking at how schools rank it seems to be a bad thing to be ranked high. Nobody wants your players. Reloading is our specialty!

Not sure I agree with this breakdown:
• Percentage of last season's QB passing yards returning: 32% of offensive returning production formula • Percentage of last season's WR/TE receiving yards returning: 32% • Percentage of career starts returning on the offensive line: 17.5% • Percentage of last season's offensive line snaps returning: 12% • Percentage of last season's RB rushing yards returning: 6.5%

So 30% comes from the O-line, where we lost 4 starters.
Imagine if we had to replace our QB and #1 RB, like we will next year.

Difference between this year and next will be an experienced and capable back up stepping in.

Clemson returns their leading passer and leading rusher as well as 2nd 3rd 4th etc, our 2nd most receiving yards as well as 3rd too..... Really only lose some on the OL here and Tee. Tough to imagine that's 40% comparatively to TL and ETN.

Totally meaningless. Probably done by a bunch of snot noses with little knowledge of the sport or team. Any consideration to the quality of the back ups ? Not. A waste of time by espn. And I agree the offense info has to be a joke.

That’s just the percentage that returning RB production weighs in the formula overall. The formula weighs returning WR/TE tied for the most (with QB) so losing a leading receiver in Tee Higgins plus four starters on the OL has Clemson lower on the list.

Here’s what we rank high in: a football building full of bad a**#s that have either played a few games or none at all yet.

......with any ranking which shows Ga Tech at #2, Clemson at #95, and Alabama at #127.
What is the point and how are the rankings developed?

I wouldnt call what Uof6C has coming back "production"

They may be returning players but to call it returning production is a bit misleading. I know its relative to each team but when compared to other teams if you return a team full of players who had a lack of production then what do you really have, lol.
