Clemson fans had high hopes for him. I guess he didn't pan out. He had such promise. Guess he just wasn't as good as we thought we thought he was or hoped he would be. A rare 5 star bust. This might explain some of our OL woes the past few years.

Personally, I don't think this has anything to do with he wasn't as good as we thought he was. He was a really good player at Clemson, and he could be just as good of a pro player as he was in college. You don't forget everything you know and have done by by going from college to the pros, and if that was the case it would be happening with a lot more 2nd round picks bc teams know what they're getting in a 2nd round pick. IMO there is something that we don't about that's happening with him in Cincinnati...

From the way this reads, it sounds like something has given Carman a I don't give a crap about being in Cincinnati and playing for the Bengals. Something hasn't set well for him with the Bengals when he was a 2nd round pick, and it was something they really liked about when they drafted him. It's my opinion that somewhere in the process from draft day to now tells me that he has been butting heads with someone on the coaching staff...
