Ok, glad we made the cut but honestly, if I was a recruit why wouldn’t I list the Tigers in top 12, top 3, 5 or whatever...

We are his #1 choice and kid is beast at LB.
Yes, we have a long way to go, but this time next year he will be enrolled at Clemson.
A J. Ngata type attitude and focus.
A winner on and off the field.
He would be just as important to us as Ngata or DJ U. (west coast players) will be in the future.
He attends all the camps/combines so he has many offers, but is focused on playing in the South more so than west coast.
On another note, Joseph Ngata's brother is a 2020 running back that I hope we continue to keep recruiting also.
And,
DJ U. has a brother (DL) that is playing with the big boys, only 9th grader who is already one of best defenders on the west coast.

Agree.
But... let the kid have his fun. When I was in high school and a highly sought after recruit (for beer drinking), there weren't no thing such as a Rivals or a 247 or whatnot. I'm sure I would've been a 5-star. Irregardless, let him have some fun. If he comes out here to Clemson, we'll teach him how to play in the NFL. And, well, if'n he don't, we'll teach him how to lose properly.

I’d say he’s genuinely interested. The coaches offered him while he was at camp according to the article. I realize reading comprehension isn’t everyone’s forte.

I think the heart is actual a tell sign; he has Clemson with an orange heart and then his caption has "All glory to God" with a heart! Bru is a silent commit you heard it here first! PTL!

He has already been here 2x.
He does not want to have to do what XT had to do.
Go to a school such as IMG, to escape pressure within the state/region;
to attend Washington or Oregon.
(Pressure throughout the Pee Dee made life miserable for XT.)

Smalls is genuinely interested. He visited for camp last year, and was very impressed with our NCG performance (who wasn’t though). The question is can we find a fit for him? He plays OLB, and we’re likely only to take 1 more LB, likely Antoine Sampah. However, we could take Smalls as a Weak Side DEnd or Edge Rusher, as I’ve suggested here before. That would be ideal
