Hate to hear it but well done, young man. Sometimes your best plays don’t happen on the field. Get that degree.

Feeling like your body is fighting against you is a heck of a think especially at that you age. Glad he is continuing his education @ Clemson & that he's still helping w/ the team...hope maybe there will be a passion for coaching that develops.

Bryton, you gave it your best shot and then some. You've made a wise decision under your circumstances. Now you're focusing on your health and education. Smart young man! Enjoy your time earning your degree. And remember, " Once a Tiger ...Always a Tiger!

This is so sad. I remember how enthusiastic he was about playing for Clemson and recruiting others for the team as well as getting healthy to play ball for us.
I wish him the best of luck in the future. Looks like he is still happy to be a Clemson Tiger and am very proud of him.

Hate to hear this but he had to make the right decision for himself and his health comes first. I am glad he is going to stay to get that CU degree.

What a shame. He hasnt gotten to play as I recall due to injuries. I wish him a full recovery and good health going forward. Seems like a solid young man.

I wish the young man well. I have no idea how big time football players do all they have to do to do well in school, stay in great physical shape, spend all the hours they have to spend on football and if you add in injuries it has to be stressful. Education and a healthy life are more important than football.

You have been a great ambassador for the team and Clemson University. Continue your education with the same enthusiasm you showed on the field. Good luck to you and your family. Go Tigers!!!

Thx Bryton for being & remaining a Tiger!

Had been waiting to enjoy your play but you’re even more of a player to me now in that you wisely knew when to get out so to win other ways in a long game ahead, LiFE!
Can’t even imagine having 1 ACL operation, nor less 3.
Bright wishes, BiLL

LBB, I had my third ACL repair last August 1 At age 65 which was the second on my right knee. As you said it’s not fun but life goes on. I am running and waterskiing again and will snow ski this winter. There is obviously some wrong with the alignment in Bryton’s right knee for him to tear the ACL twice more during rehab. There is some kind of medical issue there. The Panthers LB, Thomas Davis had three on the same knee and is still playing but his were torn while playing, not during rehab. Bryton did indeed make the right decision.

Sorry to hear this but glad you feel you have enough direction to make this change. We all know you would have been a great one if your greatest foe hadn't been your ACL.
Glad you've been and plan to remain a Tiger!
