No but a good role player like this 6th man type. They are involved with some other good guards..he hit some huge shots his whole career for a winning program, and had some big games...

He averaged 8.8 points per game at UAB. This is far from the guards we need and you know it !

I bet Lehigh, Bryant and Tennessee Texh are bummed since they were in the hunt originally. I wonder if Dabo is pursuing any similar players?

Don't mistake a portal guard playing in the American Athletic Conference for some of the smaller mid major conferences. If you play in the American or Mountain West you pretty much player for tóp tier conference.

Paul Strelowe said in his right up. This staff has a experience of improving players when they get to Clemson. Look at Galloway at BC. Only averaged about 7 pts there and went up to over 11 at Clemson. Read link:

Actually if you go by 247 player rankings of players in/out under Brownell, of which we have multiple years now, this is misleading. Players who have moved more than once net better gains after being at other programs. But I’m sure this shows how faulty the evaluation is since Brad is simply the best.

I'm not sure that Brevin Galloway is the best example for staff improvement. Yes, he improved relative to what he did at BC the year prior; however, he was also the 4th guard in terms of total usage that year for their team. There is a stronger correlation between the number of minutes he played and his performance. Specifically speaking, his best year statistically (by multiple metrics) was his junior year at the College of Charleston. This is not to state that players do not improve under this staff (see: Victor Lahkin, Ian Schiefflin, Elijah Thomas, Marcquise Reed, Shelton Mitchell, etc.). Galloway is just not the first one I would highlight as that evidence.

Look at the guards that Louisville has and has brought in and you will see a hug talent gap between what we have and what they have . This Past year we had a good advantage over most teams we played from a guard standpoint , but this coming year , not even close .

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but we seem to be filling up too quickly. We were supposed to wait until at least 4/17 to start filling the last slots to optimize this class. I’m really not sure how to feel and will consult the experts.

You know exactly what is happening , we are taking resorting to the fall back board to fill our team out at this point . We have struck out on all our much needed major guard targets . Dillon Hunter is going to be all alone this year .

good game there, but in the 7 games before that he scored 25 points total on 9-40 FG, 3-22 3ptFG. And his final 3 games after the Memphis game, 6 ppg on 7-24 FG. Can't just ignore all that. There's a reason his season totals were what they were

Given your obvious confusion, let me lend a hand. We added a nice role player as we needed the depth at the guard position and had a scholarship to give. Nothing more or nothing less. In the coming days we will add more guards. You should note we do not have the budget to sign elite players at every roster spot.

Hope this helps…
