Watson’s off the field behavior probably disqualified him. That’s tough to overcome. Clemson HOF yes but not ROH.

whatever became of him? Did he do anything after Clemson? I'm kidding people. This is so well deserved. One of the most popular Tigers ever.

LAWD was he fun to watch. Every kick off had a legit chance of going to the house. The GT game his freshman year was filthy; the double move on the sideline faked me out from the upper deck. Well deserved!

On his first kickoff return, as he took his first step in a Clemson uniform I, shouted, "He's gone!"

Awesome. CJ was the best I have ever seen and he totally changed the direction of our program. CJ would break free and the offensive linemen would be holding up their hands signaling a touchdown because they knew nobody would catch him.

Graham winning MVP of the ACC Outdoor season three times just jumps off the page, among her many other accolades. And, CJ Spiller was just excitement personified every time he touched the football. You will probably never again see a player on the losing team win MVP of a Championship Game like CJ did in 2009. He was the epitome of "leaving it all on the field" that night.

So glad the man is finally inducted! I have never seen a more electric player in my lifetime. CJ was the team. We went how CJ went. Perhaps my greatest memory was a loss. The day he put Clemson on his back and carried us through the ACC championship against Georgia Tech. Over 300 yards on a turf toe. The man could barely walk yet he willed us to a very close loss. The only time I remember the MVP of a conference championship being from the losing team.
CJ has been the ultimate ambassador for Clemson football. He was the first “superstar” to commit to Dabo. He opened the door for so many five star bonafide stars. I don’t think we get Boyd, Watkins, Watson, Hopkins, Lawrence, Ross, etc. without CJ paving the way. The most explosive, exciting, and complete player to ever wear the paw!
