I am glad to see Stelleto in the list. He has been hurt so much that we have forgotten what a highly ranked receiver he was, but he might also be a break out player if he stays healthy

Hampton Earle ahead of Noble and Hanafin at WR.

Dietrick Pennington 3rd string behind Trent Howard at LG.

Tristan Leigh not fully solidified as the starting LT.

Things I hate seeing.

12-0 regardless. Go Tigers

No huge suprises!

Some of the co-starter stuff - that's just them saying: "they will play starter minutes"! I don't see that as a bad thing at certain positions. It gives you options and allows for players not to get worn down by the middle of the season.

Hoping Stallato can stay healthy him and Spector. I think they will get plenty of opportunity in this offense and will shine in it.

Hamp is a fifth year guy ahead of true freshmen. That math works.

Lol no the "math " doesn't work...he's only caught one pass his entire career...this is an indictment on our depth and lack there of

No - if you read Dabos comments the plan is to RS the FR

They can play in 4 games plus all post-season. They think they have enough at receiver with the 7 or so other guys to not have to burn a year if eligibility. Injuries especially early on could change that and push those guys into the depth chart and earlier action

The postseason games count towards the 4 total

Not anymore. They can play all postseason games including conf. Championships, bowls an playoffs

Still? They put that in as a one year exception last year. It’s been extended?

I'm guessing that it is a wait and see. If things go well without them then the RS will be left on the table. If the receivers struggle then they start to see meaningful minutes and hopefully make a differene. The depth chart for game 1 is more of a hope of how the season goes than anything else.

This just means that Noble and Hanafin aren’t ready. And that’s unfortunate. I was hoping one of them would be. We could have used another big body WR after Randall.

Two freshman receivers are redshirting. Only reason they are behind Hampton.

It’s the first opening depth chart for the season. Didn’t expect to see Noble tink kelley or hanafin on this one tbh anyways. But when the chips fall I see them going out there and playing more than Hampton. Like ppl have said he’s a senior and going to be higher on first depth chart. Not for long tho IMO. Also would love to see Leigh solidify his spot at LT during the Duke game. We shall see. Go Tigers!! Spot the ball

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The plan is to RS all 3 you mentioned. If no one

Aug 28, 2023, 10:29 PM

gets hurt there won’t be a need to play them in more than the 4 reg season games allowed. They will still be available for postseason regardless.

Dear Jack Smith, transfer immediately.

Maybe go to a team that will pin us inside the 10 several times; while our punter eeks out some 32 yarders.

Looks like Freshmen with 15 outnumber Seniors with 13 which looks great for the future. Look at our roster and there should be no more jabs at Sam Hartman being around forever. We would have a different team without Putnam, Thomas, Davis, Mascoll, Jones and Phillips. The COVID extra year is something that we are happy about and perfectly legal.

I Like our roster.
I didn’t realize Duke was that heavy with Seniors. That’s a lot of experience.

Randall, Collins and Williams at WR - no surprise

There’s lots of potential there.
