It’s hard to overstate what DeMonte Capehart’s return will mean to our 2025 team’s peak defense.
He and Woods are terrific D-tackles. We have enough quality depth to keep both of them fresh.
Our overall DL has the talent and experience to be close to what we had in 2022; for 2025 I believe we’ll actually better at the DT (because of such high quality depth) to be better than 2022 season.
Great defenses are built from the inside-out. We’re looking great with our foundation.

I think woods will be that guy this season. Time for him to have a break out season. Still think Burley will show out too. Past due to live up to
the day 1 cant miss 98 ranking he brought in.
But it certainly adds the experienced depth we need. Possibly pushes someone to the portal imo.

If Burley doesn’t make a leap this year he’ll be passed on the depth chart. Lots of great DL talent on the roster. Hopefully he’s fully healthy and makes the leap.

Hey, I hate to see anyone leave but we sure could use a couple spots to shore up through the portal our back-end. If we can do that, I'm thinking we have a chance to be 2018 team, and maybe video team like 2019 lsu. I'm stoked.

Looks like our DL may be back to “best is the standard”, and I’m hoping our OL makes a huge positive statement this year, too. Much progress last year, IMO, and Coach Luke is building the OL like crazy. This could be a return to contending for a Natty. I love it!

This is great for the defensive line. Running a 4 down linemen set then bringing a blitz from who knows where puts the line man on man. Hopefully this will create a lot more pressure and faster than in 2024. GO TIGERS.
