Don't know but all players can come back and finish their degree at no cost after their career is over.

Not surprised. His draft stock won’t get much higher after his NC display. Thank you for the dedication to the Tigers and go get paid.
Probably late 1st round pick IMO.

I don't get it, how can it be said that his draft stock won't get much better when we constantly HEAR NFL HC's and the owners repeatedly say that they wish the juniors would stay in college and finish their college FB careers. Thay have repeatedly said that it helps them with maturity and it gives them more experience while helping them with their skill. Now how does it not help much when knowing that this is what HC's and the owners are saying about juniors coming out early. ????

That critique isn't a one-size-fits-all. Certain players are more developed as a junior than others and the player always runs the risk of getting injured and seeing their draft stock fall dramatically thereby losing millions of dollars. Maybe it would've gotten better or maybe it would've stayed the same or even decreased. A players window for football isn't that long to begin with so you cannot knock him for deciding to get paid now and live out his dream of playing in the NFL.

And we are not surprised at all. Everyone knew he was gone after this season. Too talented. I expect him to crush the combine.

Good decision by him, he's already and a late 1st-2nd rd projection. That game may have solidified a 1st rd pick. Terrell will be back, Goodrich and McMichael will have another year experienced, Booth and Jones coming in. We'll be fine. The one I really hope returns is Lamar, I want to see him and Shaq Smith play together.

Where did you read he's a 1st or 2nd round pick?

I seriously doubt it. 3rd best JR corner in draft does not translate to a high draft pick.
As someone said, i hope he is declaring to get an accurate projection. If 1st or 2nd round projection, he should go. If not, he should probably return.

I wish him the very best, but I do wish he would do what some juniors done in front of him, and stay another year and help the guys behind him to win a NC, stay and help them bc it's in his position that we're really going to need his help and experience in our secondary next season. And he can always use a degree if he doesn't make it, or if he has a NFL ending injury!!!

Good Luck Trayvon! I wish you nothing but the best!
Honestly, you had to expect this! Dude is a solid 6'1 and speedy. His height/speed combination alone makes him draft worthy. Let alone how well he played against some of the best WR's out there the last few years. He will test well and the projection and his stock will go up! More importantly his Clemson pedigree will likely put him above other players. Wait until they see him run at his height!

I just think they should have to graduate before being drafted. These players regard a contract more than an education. What happens if they get injured or cut and not picked up by another team? They have to have some way to support themselves, you can't rest on your past to propel your future. I think it's a shame that they treat the University this way. They got a scholarship to study at a great University for free, and they toss that year aside, while other deserving students can't even get a scholarship. Oh, well, guess that's just my mom side coming out. If I had a son with this kind of talent, I can guarantee you that his butt would not forgo ANY college year. He'd remain loyal to his team, his coaches, his school and his education!
