The Mahaffeys were great players back when I was growing up, so hopefully this young fellow can live up to his grandfather and Great uncle's standards.

to admit Brad is doing a bang up job. Was not a fan of his, but have to call it like I see it now. On paper this team is looking formidable, now it's up to coach to get all of them all in and on the same page. He's moved up a few notches in my book.

Now how much development will he need to play at the college level. I ask only bc he doesn't have but a few D-1 school offers. I also noticed that Duke, UNC, and NCST hasn't offered him and he's a North Carolina kid...

I mean those schools can only get 3-4 recruits every year just like everyone else, and Duke and UNC recruit on a national level. Just because he doesn’t have offers from them doesn’t mean he isn’t a quality player.
His offer list is more impressive than Ian Schieffelen’s was and Schieff is a great contributor who should take another step forward in ‘24-‘25.
