I'm glad to see this and proud of CJ. I think this move is a great one for Clemson in that it puts a young former player in a position where his viewpoints are needed and will be appreciated.
Plus it never hurts for a fund raising organization to put a man with over $29,000,000 in career earnings on the board!

This man's arrival on Clemson's campus in 2006 signaled a change in our entire football program's outlook... maybe more than anyone realized at the time .

I have always considered CJ my favorite player because of his character and drive to make Clemson great Forever!
I have never seen him when he wasn’t smiling and promoting Clemson University! The fact he was a great player.with unearthly skill and athleticism just adds the best whipped cream on top!
Go CJ and go Clemson! I grew up in Anderson County so I’m happy that’s his area!

I have a feeling that he's biding his time until Coach Elliot takes a HC position - at that point, CJ Spiller will be the next former Clemson FB player to come on as a RB coach....

Coming to Clemson from Florida, many might have expected CJ to move back to Florida after leaving the NFL. Instead, he moved back "home" to the Clemson area. He loved his time there as a student athlete and knew that is where he wanted to live full time. Having him on the board can only do good things for the university. Thanks CJ for all you have done in the past and all you will do for Clemson in the future.

When you think of great players from the past, CJ is always one of the first to come to mind! What I have always loved about CJ is that he absolutely loves Clemson. Once he reached the NFL you would still see when on our sidelines every chance he got. In the off season he was at Clemson working out, and living right there I assume! He is a great representative to this board on behalf of the football program and he has his finger on the pulse I am sure! Very happy for CJ, very ??!!! Go Tigers!!!

Dabo recruiting CJ was the start of Clemson rebuilding. So many great players followed with Tajh, Sammy, Nuk and so many defensive players. CJ has always been a Clemson man and represented Clemson with pride and enthusiasm

On an amusing side note I didn't realize he has a dog named Zena with that particular spelling, because my rescue mutt is also named Zena...we just call her Z for short. Had we gotten a male I was already pushing the name CJ for it.
