beyond me. I've never known them to be anything but a bottom dweller and by the looks of it - forever will be.
Ain't DW4's fault the Brown's signed one of the dumbest player contracts in the history of the NFL. Perhaps the Browns current situation is all some cosmic Clemson karma payback for how the Browns treated James Davis. Pitchfork Ben may even be involved...

You can't blame DW4 for signing that contract. I thought it was stupid of Clevland at the time, but DW4 did what was best for him.
Keep counting the money, and don't expect a statue in Cleveland. Let them burn your jersey's. Just get out of town with the cash!
I feel sorry for Cleveland, but you can't fix stupid........

Yes let’s take the word of a mentally “special” eccentric billionaire who has illegally gained access to our government data without clearance through the media platform that he owns. I’m sure Bigballz69 has some crazy insight into our government.

Elon is exposing the insanity of the last administration- read the reports. USAid was giving away money to put on transgender operas in Columbia, fund transgender plays in foreign countries, fund politico to spin the leftist’s lies, 2 million dollars to make a version of Sesame Street for Pakistan….& yet Elon, who is exposing this ridiculous spending, is the one who is the problem????? No, the Democratic Party has been hijacked by radical lunatics. Thank God the majority of Americans said “Enough”!

Do you know this thing called The Constitution?
Or does it only matter when it talks about guns? The whole checks and balances thing, eh who cares?
Instead of name-calling, why don't you read the constitution again.

Same thing as an audit. Needed someone with some common sense and probably the smartest guy in the US to handle this liberal created mess. And stupid yes and that’s being polite.
Seems most normal Americans would want this BS exposed. Liberals make little to know sense whining about someone wanting to save the taxpayer some money.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. There is a way to do things, as laid out in the Constitution. There is a reason a president is not given unlimited powers - or gifting them to non-citizens. I think I learnt this in 9th grade.
If Soros were doing this, you'd be losing your minds, as would I. But that's the difference between people with objectivity and those tribalists blindly loyal to a conservative ideology over the Constitution and country. Oh, the irony.
This situation reeks of Iran before the take-over.

So now you're a Constitutionalist? Where were you the last 4 years when unelected and ANONYMOUS people were running the country, spending trillions, bribing news sources and intelligence gatherers, allowing open borders, paying criminals to come here, cooperating with drug and sex traffickers, encouraging foreign wars and pardoning 8500 hardened criminals in the name of a demented President who had no idea what he was signing?
Trump and Musk will stand behind every decision they make. That's leadership, transparency and accountability.
Democrats will not. That's cowardice.
And you call us "tribalists"?

You do realize that the usaid group is a bunch of unelected officials, right?
You do realize that an audit is and can be done by an unelected official, right?
You do realize that, if we do not curtail the ludicrous spending, we will eventually fail to pay the debt?
You do realize that there are far more, and bigger, problems that this country faces, than the idea of forwarding transgenderism in foreign countries?
If we do not fix the leaks, this boat will sink. That's ok with you?

Believe he has more smarts in his left nut than your post. Called exposing corruption. Pretty #### embarrassing to hear about where our government is spending money. Seems any true American would want this BS exposed. Your party is the one that f’ed it up. Maybe y’all can run Gavin Newsome in 28. He seems to have Cali on the right track🤦♂️. New York and California… 2 liberal cesspools that consistently run in the red. Hold on there is more coming out.

Yep, that's right. Anyone who believes TheRump must be insane.
When FoxFakeNews (FFN) was telling lie after lie about TheRump'S BIG LIE, FFN created and repeated insanely stupid lies about Dominion Voting Systems (DVS) changing votes from TheRump to Biden. (This despite surveys of 70% FFN staff saying they knew Biden won fairly. The head of NSA and Bill Barr told TheRump that he lost a fair election. And, even TheRump, in Sept 2024, admitted he lost the election, then later lied to say he was joking -- but nobody laughed when he admitted he lost. It wasn't a joke And his loss to Biden wasn't close.)
So, DVS sued FFN because of FFN's lies about FFN's continual LIES about DVS changing votes.
Tha case was a slam-dunk for DVS. BUT, as a last gasp, the lawyers for FFN requested that the case be dropped because (quote): "Anyone who believes everything they hear on Fox News 'MUST BE INSANE." (The judge said, it is obvious that a lot of people do believe it.)
FoxFakeNews (FFN) settled the suit by paying Dominion Voting Systems $870,000,000. That's right -- almost a Billion Dollars. Of course, FFN never mentioned this on the shows. That's a LIE by omission of important news.
BUT, you MAGAoids that watch and believe FoxFakeNews are "INSANE."
AND, TheRump lies every time he opens his mouth. We all are about to go thru a SHYATT-STORM as TheRump moves to weaken our govt and our military, making the US over to show his bud Putin that the US will crown him KING.
TheRump ia about to kick-off a worldwide Depression (TheRump's Worldwide Depression.) Hope you don't need Soc Sec, Medicare, or Veteran's benefits.

This 'us versus them' mentality is what got us in this mess to begin with.
Liberalism, like Conservatism, is needed. Neither radical side is worth a darn but they both have them.
Without liberalism, the slaves would not have been freed, women allowed to vote, etc, etc. All liberal views at the time.

Marty Shottenheimer had a good run with Kevin Mack at RB. Played for several championship
You would have to go way way back to find any prior success.

He had a chance for greatness and stupidly blew It.
If I was a Browns fan I would strongly dislike Watson also.

At least Watson paid for his tang.
He’d have never been dragged into court for sexual harrassment / puurverzzionz had he not been a known big money guy that lawyers could target as a walking talking retirement plan.
Not saying that his er uh social activities were admirable. Just that him being blamed for that as an implied cause of his multi-year stint of injury riddled bad play is a bit absurd.
Now, if DW4’s career had been as a weenie slinger instead of a football slinger, then criticisms of flaccid weenie slinging due to over-use of his work tool during personal time would be justifiable.

He deserved to be kicked out of the league and arrested for assault with a weapon for hitting Rudolph with the helmet. Don't waste any sympathy for that criminal.

DW isn't the one to blame. Anyone would have signed that contract. I'd call anyone a .moron if they didn't sign tht contract. Blame your organization they are the ones who agreed to fork over that much money.
The org knew off all of the baggage DW was bringing but they still offered up 230 mil guaranteed.

This is nothing new for Cleveland. It has long been known as a place QBs go to have their career die. I had a friend who was a Browns fan and had a good sense of humor about it. He had a Browns Tim Couch jersey. He had put brown duct tape over the “C” so it just said “OUCH” across the back.

The amount of people that still stick up for Watson is beyond me. He did it. With that many accusers, you can't convince me all of them are lying. And to believe they all all lying is just wishful thinking. I know he won us a natty, I was sitting in TD's as I watched it happened. He was my favorite Tiger off all time, I thought he was our GOAT. But I cannot defend what he did, and I cannot root for someone I believe committed sexual assault. And, I think for our fan base to defend him is a bad look. Downvote all you want, it's the truth.

No/ sure why we call it 'sexual assault' when he persuaded and paid women to assault him.
I have no doubt he did it, but I also doubt he felt that he had threatened them in any way. He asked, they did it. Some people think that if they didn't want to, they should have said no. Instead they gave him happy endings and then sued him afterwards? Come on.
Obviously, maybe I'm missing something, but that's all I've ever heard. News coverage is specifically vague about it. From all the moral outrage, you'd think he had made 22 women have his child . I don't think he went that far.

I will always appreciate what Deshaun Watson did for Clemson, while he was there. My appreciation also ends there.
The Browns are owned by the Haslam family, and I lived in Knoxville during the FBI and Pilot/Flying J fraud investigations. This pretty much sums it up:
From 2017: Brian Mosher (former Pilot Flying J sales executive) considered himself a master at the game of defrauding trucking company customers, and he told jurors Monday he presented details of it to his bosses, including former Pilot Flying J President Mark Hazelwood and current Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Haslam.
I have tried very hard since then to avoid giving them "one thin dime" of my money.

I pray for DW4. Based on outside observations he is about as lost a soul can be. He is not the first athlete that grew up with nothing in a rural setting, and suddenly came into more money than he could manage. Add in becoming enamored with the hollywood jet setting lifestyle and the scandal and his downfall is complete. All I know is this is not the same person who worked his tail off at Clemson, had a refuse to lose attitude, played in a game against our arch rival with a torn ACL and donated his very first check to the cafeteria workers in the Texan facility. I can still revere what he did for Clemson and disapprove of what he has become
