Towson was 8-1 and a mid-major no Power 5 wants to play. Experienced team with grads and seniors in the starting lineup. Towson won 25 games last season. It is time some of you Debbie Downers give Clemson some credit.

Yeah it was a nice win but we're the only p5 team they'll play this year. Interesting lineup playing 4 guards. Kinda thought we'd dominate the post.... which we'll be able to do against smaller teams.
Was kinda hoping to see more of the bench last night but not to be. Too many turnovers kept that from happening. Still think this will be Brad's best team as long as hall and tyson stay healthy. ACC top 5.

Agree. Anyone who didn’t watch that game missed an exciting, highly competitive matchup between two teams playing solid basketball. It was an enjoyable take. Our Tigers are still a work in progress — can’t say that we have a creator at point guard, we need to be better on the boards, and I’m still looking for a frosh to step up and play consistent minutes — but this is a likable, hard-working, and potentially really good team. Hunter Tyson has developed into an All-ACC player, PJ is going to be a pro, and Chase Hunter and Alex H have taken huge leaps forward.

They were 25-9 last year and finished first in the CAA standings before a disappointing loss to Delaware in the conference tournament championship game.

They have two grad players and two seniors in their starting five. Two of the players were preseason first team all-conference players this year.
I expect them to win their conference and be in the big dance this year.

Towson is an excellent mid-major team who will most likely win their conference and be a very tough opponent in March. This is a fantastic win for the boys, especially since it was a major “trap game,” late Nate, midweek, coming off a big ACC win, etc.

Am not familiar with Towson, but they had some scrappy ball players. But guess what, so do we. Clemson struggled in the first half with turnovers, and at times looked a bit sloppy .But it was Towson that got sloppy late when they missed on 3 consecutive trips down the floor.
Foul calling left a lot to be desired as well , but a good win for a surprisingly good team.
Who knows maybe Brad gets another year.
