Well for starters I would bet you even money he's probably going to be a four star 2 years from now when he steps on somebody's campus. Hopefully hours. With the way things are working with regard to walk on you're going to recruit guys knowing that they're likely backups and we'll need some development. That said kid looks like he can play and I think he's going to get a pretty decent boost in the ratings.

Because when he showed out at camp and impressed Dabo, Riley, and others they felt he would be a real benefit to the program. They know talent when they see it. Ratings services largely align but not always.

Exactly, talent can be coached! Dabo knows Talent! Hunter Johnson and DJU contacted Clemson when they were 5 Stars….
They offered Trevor and DW4 early, and the both had great careers! Same with Cade.
Obviously he impressed Dabo.

Be sick of it all you want. Fact remains Clemson is not going to pay millions for an unproven high school QB. If said QB commits to Clemson, starts and is a top QB THEN he gets paid to stay.

Since you seem to be new to recruiting, I will explain. Dabo will not agree to pay $1M plus upfront for a Trevor level QB so this is our option. He will likely be a 4* but not an immediate impact starter. A very good get if he sticks for 4 years

Are you listening to what you're saying? Lol. Nah man, our coaches can recognize and develop talent. Is Brock the next TL? Probably not (most definitely not), but neither is Perman, and I bet you want him to replace Cade. Those kids with grit push the 5 and 4 stars to KEEP their spots.

Brock still has two more years of high school. He'll probably be 6'3" and 200 lbs by 2026 fall camp. Dabo and company will bulk him up even more. I'm guessing he's four star by 2026.

Ditto. I'm excited. Look at the kids film. He's just a rising junior. Two years in high school is a long time. He's got a quick release. Saying, he's got the raw talent that can't be taught, as well as the moxy. He can learn the offense.
A lot of 3 star QB's in the bigs.

The only successful QBS that were under Dabo were generational before they arrived. This guy is another bench warmer hopefully. We need a stud to get us back to the top. SHOW ME THE MONEY

Is he wrong? Trevor's best year was his freshman one without significant coaching. Deshaun arguably improved, but he also hired an outside quarterbacks coach because he didn't trust Streeter. DJ regressed heavily the longer he stayed in our program. Remains to be seen with Cade but it's concerning. Tajh is a good exception to that statement.

Tajh was not generational, he was a 4 star, and he set record books and won us an orange bowl over Ohio State.
Cole stout was anything but generational, but he won games, and despite the BS the toxic side of this fanbase had to say, he took is to a 40-6 win over Oklahoma where he passed 4 TDs and ran 3 more.
Kelly Bryant, no way was he generational, but did you see him light up Miami? He took us in an off year to the playoffs, and despite what anyone has to say about "defense carried us", DEFENSE CARIES IOWA AND THEY DONT WIN S#!+
Hunter Johnson, nothing short of legendary, right? If you ask Brownsburg that answer is YES. Best QB ever out of that town and was a 5 star. Sat behind legends and never broke through, but he was 10x better than any arm chair.
Chase Bryce... would you call him successful??? Let's just ask Syracuse what they think. Or sunshine. We don't make it to the playoffs to CRUSH Bama without Chase Bryce.
Tell me Kyle Parker wasn't good. TAISUN Phommachanh, Zerrick Cooper! Hell, Bubba Chandler was more a man AND a QB than you'll ever be.
You wanna rag on the development of QBs at Clemson, go ahead. But understand you are not a Tiger. You are a YARDBIRD at best.

Folks on here knocking a guy we're pulling in as our 2nd QB take of the class, to Tait Reynolds! And oh BTW, he's worked out here & our coaches like him!! He also had offers from WF, WVU & Cincy, who have had QBs better than ours recently!

What jumped out at me in the article about Brock Bradley was this line: “Some of his early offers include Texas A&M, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Tulane, Memphis and Cincinnati.”
Sorry to be so blunt, but in the last three seasons, a lot of our starters on offense have been players who would have excelled at those schools. But they are not the elite players you see on the teams in the latest Top 10 predictions for 2024.
Since the glory years that led to four appearances in the CFL championship game and two national titles, our offense has reminded me of the offenses we had before Dabo took over: Good but not great. Let’s hope we can turn that around this year.

Nothing to get excited about....another " developmental QB " who impressed coaches at the underwear Olympics (football camp). All these QBs (Vizzina, Hebert, Reynolds, Bradley) all look the same. Good at camps but come from high schools who play against ok competition. I understand college football is a developmental game but you can't have developmental players at d@mn near every position. Especially when looking at Clemson's past performance at developing QB's. The exceptions being DW4 & TL16 who arrived ready made. Developing is what Coach Reed did with Wiggins. Big difference from his 1st game against Wake to 2 seasons later being a 1st-round pick. Haven't seen anything close to that at QB. I realize CDS doesn't want to pay top flight talent but something is going to have to give. This year will tell a lot, does CDS's way work or will the current method of teams that pay for talent at key positions (OL, DL and QB) succeed. Time will tell.
