be the case. Yeah, they are improved, but, SO ARE WE! And, we were better than them to begin with! It almost seems like somebody is trying to talk themselves into a self fulfilling prophesy here. I believe we handle the Blue Debils without much trouble.

Back in the 1980's we used to have more Clemson fans in Wallace Wade than Dook fans for the games. Let's do that this year as well! I certainly expect Dook to be ready, it is a big game on their campus.
I expect our offense to blast off on that Monday night! Our Defense should lock them down too!
The Tigers will not overlook their first game, and on national TV. Dabo will have them ready!

I agree by at least 3 TDs, but, If Dabo really likes Dooks HC, he may hold the team to a 14-17 point win by pulling all the starters within the first minutes of the 4th quarter...

Hammer head hits nail on head... I understand that when bringing in a new coordinator most of the with teams that are hardly ever stable with any coordinator. But we are talking about a Clemson team that is loaded with talent with a new QB that is believed to higher rated than the QB that Garrett worked with and had him in the Heisman race his first and only year of working with him.
247 IMO are using their selective memory by purposely forgetting they are talking about a Clemson team with a HC that has taken this team to 6 straight in a row playoff games, and 4 NC games. But for the last two season has been bitten by an injury bug added with a QB that lost his way with a subpar QB coach.
If 247 wanted to be honest by telling the truth of what negatively affected Clemson for the past two seasons, they would have explained our woe's in a similar way that I believe to be the truth, then finished by saying that Clemson will be bringing a healthy team to Dook, and doing so with the 2022 Broyles Award winner as the top Asst Coach/OC Garrett Riley, and that Dook may not be quite ready for a loaded Garrett Riley offence with Clemson also bringing with them one of the top rated defenses in the country. Dook will have their hands full with a Top Rated Clemson team!!!!

My Dook friend was glad we stopped playing them every year due to the ACC schedule.
He said just seeing Clemson on their football schedule, makes him look forward to basketball season.
They do not enjoy seeing Clemson take the field in Wallace Wade, so many of their fans just don't show up...

With it being the first game with Riley as new OC, maybe some kinks to work out....that being said, if we struggle with Duke into the late 3rd or into 4th quarter, not going to feel very good at that moment.
BUT, win the game, stay as healthy as possible, and move on to the next game is what matters!!!
